Las Palmas welcome Real Betis to Gran Canaria Stadium on Thursday evening (18:30) in La Liga, hoping to bring an end to their eight-game losing streak. They are in the worst run of form in the division and Real Betis will be sensing an opportunity to extend their winning run.

Manuel Pellegrini's men have won two on the bounce and are unbeaten in their last five. They have leapfrogged Real Sociedad to take the Europe Conference League qualifier spot and they will want to hold onto that position in the final three matches of the campaign. They will have to meet their European in a crunch clash this weekend, but first they must overcome Los Amarillos. Below are my Las Palmas vs Real Betis predictions.

Las Palmas vs Real Betis Betting Tips

  • Real Betis to win to nil @ 21/10
  • Ayoze Perez anytime goalscorer at 2/1

Las Palmas vs Real Betis Odds

Las Palmas are 3/1 to pick up a rare win here, giving them an implied probability of 25%. Real Betis are valued at 19/20, which gives them a 51.3% chance. The draw can be backed at 12/5 (29.4%).

Both teams to score is available at 4/5 and over 2.5 goals is 10/11.

Real Betis striker Willian Jose has netted 10 goals in La Liga this season and he is 8/5 to score anytime on Thursday, or 9/2 to open the scoring.

Team News

Duo Daley Sinkgraven and Maximo Perrone are both doubts to feature here after they missed the weekend defeat to Mallorca due to injury. However, Sergi Cardona will be available for selection after serving his one-match suspension.

Real Betis are missing a quartet of players in Marc Bartra, German Pezzella, Cedric Bakambu and Chimy Avila. Winger Assane Diao could return to the bench after returning to training. He has been absent for the last two matches.

Real Betis to win to nil @ 21/10

Funnily enough, I am back with the same tips for Betis that I gave at the weekend for their clash with Almeria. Unfortunately, they did not win that game to nil but my prediction on Ayoze Perez to score did deliver as a consolation.

My faith in them winning matches to nil hasn't wavered, and I am more confident on this occasion that they will succeed. Las Palmas are in dire form and eight defeats in a row is going to have had a huge psychological impact on them. They can count themselves lucky that they had enough points on the board already because they are in relegation form.

Betis need to keep putting points on the board if they wish to be playing European football next term, and ahead of their vital meeting with Real Sociedad, they could really do with picking up another win here.

They have won their last two and are unbeaten in their last five, so momentum is with them. They will see this game as a free-hit as Las Palmas cannot seem to dig themselves out of their current hole.

Given that they have also failed to score in their last three defeats, I believe Betis can beat them to nil too.

Real Betis to win to nil at 21/10 Ayoze Perez anytime goalscorer at 2/1

Former Newcastle United and Leicester City attacker Ayoze Perez scored Betis' third goal in their 3-2 win over Almeria last time out, taking his league total for the season up to eight.

He has scored four goals in as many appearances of late so the Spaniard is finishing the campaign strongly. He, alongside the likes of Willian Jose, Isco and Pablo Fornals, will be itching to face Las Palmas in their current form as they are continually leaking goals, which are there to be had for Betis.

I was right in backing him to score last time out and I think he will deliver for me again in midweek in what should be a huge win for the visitors.
