Hull City vs Leeds United prediction: Tigers unlikely to cope with the league leaders

A seven-match unbeaten run has seen Leeds resume control of the Championship title race and they will be optimistic about strengthening their position away at struggling Yorkshire rivals Hull.
The Tigers limped to a 1-0 loss at home to Middlesbrough on New Year’s Day, which leaves them third from bottom in the Championship and in grave relegation danger. Below you can find my Hull City vs Leeds United predictions for the Saturday Championship 15:00 clash.
Hull City vs Leeds United Betting Tips
Team news
Hull continue to deal with a raft of absentees, as Oscar Zambrano is suspended while Carl Rushworth, Charlie Hughes, Mohamed Belloumi, Liam Millar, Kasey Palmer and Ryan Longman are sidelined by injuries.
Leeds, meanwhile, remain without Junior Firpo and Ilia Gruev while full-backs Jayden Bogle and Sam Byram are fresh injury doubts.
Hull City vs Leeds United, Match Odds
Leeds were below their best in Wednesday's 1-1 draw at home to Blackburn but the Championship leaders are 4/7 to return to winning ways at Hull.
The Tigers have won only one of their last nine home league games and are 5/1 to spring a surprise, while the draw is available at 16/5.
Both teams to score is a 10/11 chance while under 2.5 goals, something which has landed in 12 of Hull’s last 16 games, has also been priced up at 10/11.
Leeds to win & under 3.5 goals @ 23/20
Leeds have been efficient rather than explosive on their Championship travels this season, with their last two away games seeing them edge past Stoke 2-0 and grind out a 1-0 victory over Derby.
In fact, ten of their last 12 away league games have featured two or fewer goals and this promises to be another low-scoring encounter settled by fine margins.
For very different reasons to title-chasing Leeds, third-bottom Hull are in desperate need of points and keeping things tight would be their best opportunity to pick up a positive result.
But the Tigers have lost five of their last nine home league games and Leeds’ added quality in the final third is set to prove all the difference.
Eight of Hull’s last nine Championship losses have featured three or fewer goals and that trend of being plucky in defeat may continue at the MKM Stadium.

Brenden Aaronson to score at anytime @ 11/5
American international Brenden Aaronson appears to have locked down a place in Leeds’ midfield with some excellent reason performances and he may reward the faith of manager Daniel Farke with a goal against Hull.
Aaronson has scored in three of his last six Championship appearances, which includes on their last away trip to Derby, and his tally of 57 shots this season makes him one of Leeds' most influential assets, with only Joel Piroe proving more prolific.
