Huddersfield vs Shrewsbury Prediction: Terriers to ease to comfortable win

It's been a dream start to life in HD1 for Michael Duff, with three straight wins in all competitions, but can they keep up that perfect record on Saturday afternoon (15:00), when rock-bottom Shrewsbury Town head up north?
Read on for my Huddersfield vs Shrewsbury prediction and all the latest team news ahead of this League 1 match in West Yorkshire.

Team News
Michael Duff has been boosted on the striker front as Rhys Healey is back in full training and available for selection on Saturday. However, fellow striker Bojan Radulović is still only in light training and will remain out for a couple more weeks yet.
Shrews boss Paul Hurst is looking to pick up their first points for the season but he hasn't been helped by an early injury crisis. Town captain Carl Winchester has a groin problem, while Josh Feeney, Morgan Feeney, Jordan Rossiter and George Nurse have all recently missed games due to fitness.

Unsurprisingly, the home side are big 2/5 favourites to keep up their 100% record with a victory on home soil, giving them an implied win probability of 71%, while the visitors are 7/1, or a 12.5% chance.
The draw can be backed at 18/5, both teams to score at Evens, and over 2.5 total goals at 8/11, so we should have plenty of goals here.
Huddersfield -1 Handicap @ 23/20
It's a weird feeling being a (Huddersfield) Town fan at the moment. We've suffered two fairly quick relegations, have burnt through numerous managers and have watched some terrible football of late, however, there is a ridiculous air of optimism round the John Smiths at the moment and the old lady is looking all new and shiny after a recent makeover.
American Chairman and Owner Kevin Nagle has put his money where his mouth is in other areas too, holding onto the majority of the Championship squad, as well as bringing in one of the best operators at this level in Duff and some quality looking new signings in Lasse Sørensen, Antony Evans, Herbie Kane and Mickel Miller.
Duff appears to have done a tremendous job in pre-season in getting the squad fit as a fiddle and they appear to have knitted together nicely, winning three straight games, scoring seven times, whilst conceding just once.
Next up is a Shrewsbury side that are really struggling, losing in consecutive weeks to the two sides the Terriers have already beaten in the league, 1-0 to Stevenage on the opening day and a 4-1 drubbing at the hands of Peterborough last weekend. It won't get any easier for Hurst & Co. as they travel up the M6 to face one of the better teams in League 1.
I successfully tipped up Town to win nil and Danny Ward to score against Morecambe in the Carabao Cup and I can see a similar scoreline in West Yorkshire on Saturday afternoon. However, I've gone for the handicap route rather than the clean sheet this time, as Town are always prone to a moment of madness like Brodie Spencer's conceded penalty in the last few minutes against Stevenage.
A two-goal victory for Town should get the business done here and I think they should do at least that on Saturday.
Rhys Healey to score anytime @ 6/4
This one is a bit of a punt, as there's every chance that Duff may play it cautious and not rush back his star striker. However, it sounds like he has trained well and Duff sounded bullish about his chances when asked on Thursday afternoon.
Healey should be prolific at this level and will be provided with plenty of chances from the likes of the marauding wingbacks Sørensen and Miller. He had a fine pre-season and has been tipped by some as a dark horse for League 1 top scorer. Healey also takes penalties should the opportunity arise.
At 6/4 I'm willing to take the chance that he starts and scores.
