The Norwegian saw his team beaten in the Europa League qualifiers by Shakhtar Donetsk before Lausanne ended their Conference League hopes last month.

Yalcın's first game back was a 2-0 loss at Alanyaspor before a come-from-behind 2-1 home success against Basaksehir last weekend.

Goztepe have made an unbeaten start to their season, including a scoreless draw with Fenerbahce here last month in which the visitors missed a stoppage-time chance to win it from the penalty spot.

They are proving stubborn opponents and haven't lost any of the last three meetings with Besiktas. A share of the spoils could be on the cards now.

Brazilian import Janderson has made a solid start after securing his move to Europe with Goztepe this summer.

He marked his debut with the winner in a friendly against Antalyaspor and laid on the crucial opener for Malcom Bokele in the opening weekend win over Rizespor.

He was instrumental in last month's league victory over Karagumruk, assisting Junior Olaitan for the opener before adding the second goal.

The 26-year-old could be the man to break the deadlock for the home side here.
