Back BTTS Newcastle vs West Ham @ 1/2

The latest exciting round of fixtures from the English Premier League lands on Saturday with the opening game at St James’ Park, where Newcastle United host West Ham United. The hosts start down in 10th place but know a home win would catapult them up to eighth. Opponents West Ham arrive in town sitting seventh, desperately clinging on to hopes of securing another European finish this season.

The stats associated with this fixture show the Magpies and Hammers shared four goals in their previous meeting this term and a combined eight goals in their two games last season. With all to play for here and the game broadcast live on television, another action-packed 90 minutes is expected. Add the opening fixture of the day to your Goals Galore coupon.

Back BTTS Aston Villa vs Wolves @ 4/7

Our second and last pick from the EPL this weekend sees us back goals in Aston Villa’s home tie against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Villa have been the surprise package of the Premier League this season and could go six points clear of Tottenham, strengthening their chances of landing a top-four finish at the expense of Ange Postecoglou’s side. Wolves target a top-10 finish and arrive at Villa Park having won three of their last four.

Flicking through the form and head-to-head stats, we note Villa and Wolves fought out a 1-1 draw at Molineux earlier in the season, and that was also the score when Wolves last visited this stadium. We fancy the home team to win Saturday evening’s live game but will happily add the fixture to our Goals Galore list.

Back BTTS St Johnstone vs Dundee @ 5/6

Moving to the Scottish Premiership, followers will find a five-game programme starting at 3:00pm. Plenty is going on north of the border, with Rangers and Celtic locked in a title race while battle rages at the wrong end of the league. St Johnstone hosts Dundee, with the hosts one point and a place above relegation, while the visitors could move into the top six with the right set of results.

The Saints don’t score many goals, but they’ve found joy against Saturday’s opponents, already netting three goals in two previous games this season. These teams drew 2-2 when last meeting at McDiarmid Park before Dundee battled to a narrow 2-1 home win over St Johnstone in February. This will be tight again and we’re confident of more goals.

Back BTTS Arbroath vs Dunfermline @ 8/11

We finish off our Goals Galore with two picks from the Scottish Championship, which is consistently one of the most competitive leagues in the UK. Arbroath welcomes Dunfermline with the home team bottom of the league and counting down the days until they return to League One football. Arbroath is already nine points behind second-bottom Inverness, while Dunfermline could move into the promotion playoff places with victory.

Games at this level are often difficult to predict, but they’re always competitive, and this encounter will be no different. The stats show that 1-1 was the final score in each of the last two renewals of this fixture, and a hat trick would come as no surprise. Another useful addition to our Goals Galore list.

Back BTTS Partick vs Inverness @ 8/11

It’s a battle of the thistles in the fifth game of five from this weekend’s Goals Galore picks. We’re in Glasgow, where Patrick Thistle hosts Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Championship and with a competitive 90 minutes expected, we’re happy to sign off with this intriguing match.

When researching this game, we noted that Partick and ICT shared six goals in the highlands earlier this year and a combined eight goals in three games. With Partick edging closer to a promotion playoff finish and Inverness fighting for survival, this game will catch fire early. The teams know each other well, meaning they can get down to business from the first whistle.
