On course for an unbeaten season in the Eredivisie this term, PSV Eindhoven put their undefeated record on the line on Friday night (19:00) when they make the trip to Go Ahead Eagles.

After their first 26 games of the season, PSV are sitting pretty at the top of the table with 10 points between themselves and second-placed Feyenoord. Currently flying under former Ajax manager Peter Bosz, the Lightbulbs will take some stopping to be denied all three points when they head to sixth-placed Go Ahead this week.

Go Ahead Eagles vs PSV Betting Tips

  • PSV Eindhoven to win and both teams to score @ 7/5
  • Luuk De Jong first goalscorer @ 11/4

Team News

Starting with the hosts, Go Ahead boss Rene Hake is likely to go with the same starting lineup that edged past RKC Waalwijk last time out.

The Deventer outfit have picked up no fresh injury concerns from that 1-0 win on Saturday and there’s unlikely to be too much tinkering with the starting XI.

As for PSV, Joey Veerman and Noa Lang are believed to be the only injury concerns ahead of the trip to De Adelaarshorst.

Guus Til is pushing for a starting role after coming off the bench to score the equaliser in a 2-2 draw with title rivals Feyenoord last time out.

Match Odds

PSV are the heavy favourites to come out on top in this one at 2/7 in the match result market.

Go Ahead Eagles are 15/2 to claim the three points, while the draw is available at 5/1.

PSV Eindhoven to win and both teams to score @ 7/5

Five of the last six away games for PSV have ended with both sides getting on the scoresheet and it would be no surprise to see the trend continue on Friday.

Looking at past meetings between these teams at De Adelaarshorst in all competitions, a bet on a PSV win with both teams to score would have landed in five of their six encounters.

This selection would have landed in the last four games between these sides in Deventer and at 7/5 it’s good value to come in again.

PSV and both teams to score at 7/5

Luuk De Jong first goalscorer @ 11/4

A player brimming with confidence at present, Luuk De Jong is the player to look out for in the first goalscorer market for this one.

With 22 Eredivisie goals in 24 appearances to his name already this season, the former Barcelona man has been key to PSV’s unbeaten run this term.

De Jong appears to like playing Go Ahead too, having scored three goals in his last three games against them.

The former Newcastle United forward scored the opening goal in two of the last three meetings between these teams and is 11/4 to do so again on Friday.
