Portugal to win

The Lusos are already through and Martinez is expected to make changes to rest key players for their round of 16 clash, but I still think their second-string XI would possess more than enough quality to win here.

Portugal have scored five goals already at the Euros and there is plenty of firepower in their ranks to have some more joy on Wednesday night. Veteran superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is sure to keep his place in the team as he searches for his first goal of the tournament, and we may yet see Bruno Fernandes and Bernardo Silva play alongside him.

The likes of Joao Felix and Diogo Jota will be pushing for a start so that they can try and barge their way into Martinez's thinking for the knockout stage. There will be plenty out to make a point in this game, so just because they are through, do not doubt that Portugal will want to top the group with a maximum nine points.

Both teams to score - Yes

Georgia have surprised most people this summer. They gave an excellent account of themselves in their defeat to Turkey and were unfortunate to not have taken anything from the game. They were able to take a point against Czech Republic but that has still left them with great work to do against the best team in the group.

That being said, I do think there is a chance for them to have some joy in this match. They have scored in both matches so far and I believe this trend can continue. I do believe that the Crusaders can cause Portugal's defence some problems.

They have quick attackers who like to be direct and just charge with the ball, and Portugal haven't exactly had to face anything like that so far. Georgia have shown that they belong in the company of those who frequently partake in these major tournaments, and a decent showing against one of the best teams in Europe right now would improve their standing on the continent.

I do think BTTS is worth backing here as at the very least I can see Georgia getting a consolation goal.

Cristiano Ronaldo 3+ shots

His wait for his first goal of the tournament goes on but he will sense that it will come to an end in Gelsenkirchen. Ronaldo is continuing to show that he can compete at this level at the age of 39, and despite not scoring, he has been very busy.

The forward has registered nine shots at goal in two matches, four of which have been on target. Ronaldo is already quite a selfish player when it comes to chances at goal, but seeing as he has still not scored, I expect he will be extra greedy against Georgia.

That is why I think he is worth backing to have at least three attempts in this match, and you never know, he might just finally get the goal he is craving.

Joao Palhinha 1+ fouls

Fulham's Joao Palhinha has only played 45 minutes of football at this tournament so far but in that time he has already been penalised for a foul. This is comes to the surprise of no one who has been watching him in the Premier League over the past two years, he is one of the top serial offenders for fouls, and I sense that he has more to come in this tournament.

He was subbed off at half-time last time out, which I think was to protect him after the booking, but I do think he will return to the XI on Wednesday, and I think we will see him commit at least one foul, even with the threat of a suspension should he get booked again in the group stage.
