Fulham vs Nottingham Forest Prediction: Wood to strike on the road once again

Fulham and Nottingham Forest will resume Premier League duties at Craven Cottage on Saturday afternoon (15:00), after both teams saw off lower-league opposition last weekend to progress to the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Fulham vs Nottingham Forest Betting Tips
Team News
Willian re-joined the hosts on a free transfer earlier this month, and will be in contention to play this weekend. Meanwhile, Reiss Nelson has suffered a setback in his recovery from a thigh injury, meaning he'll remain in the treatment room alongside Kenny Tete and Harry Wilson.
As for the visitors, Carlos Miguel and Taiwo Awoniyi were both forced off with injuries in midweek, and both are doubts for the game at Craven Cottage.
Callum Hudson-Odoi has returned to training after missing the past three matches with a groin problem, although his status for this weekend remains unknown, while Murillo will look to shake off a dead leg in time for Saturday's contest.
Fulham vs Nottingham Forest Odds
Fulham are 6/5 for Saturday's encounter, giving them an implied win probability of 45.5%, with the draw available at 23/10 and the away win is priced up at 5/2.
Chris Wood is the favourite to score anytime at 7/4, while Raul Jimenez is shortest-priced for the hosts at 9/5.
Nottingham Forest to win @ 5/2
Nottingham Forest are enjoying a dream Premier League season, and with 14 games to go, are firmly in the mix to finish in a Champions League spot.
The Tricky Trees are 10 points adrift of leaders Liverpool, but they have a six-point cushion over fifth-placed Manchester City, and they'll know how important another victory on the road could be.
Nuno Espirito Santo's side stuck seven without reply past Brighton & Hove Albion in their most recent league outing - the perfect response to the 5-0 demolition they suffered at the hands of Bournemouth a week prior, which is their only league defeat in their last 10 outings.
Fulham are having a fine season in their own right as they sit ninth in the table, but they have failed to win any of their last five league matches at Craven Cottage.
Given that Santo's men have the second-best away record in the top flight, having amassed 23 points from 12 games with wins at Liverpool and Manchester United as well as draws at Chelsea and Brighton, I'm backing Forest to prevail on Saturday.

Chris Wood to score anytime @ 7/4
Only Mohamed Salah and Erling Haaland have scored more Premier League goals than Chris Wood this term, who has netted 17 goals in 24 league appearances.
The New Zealand international will fancy his chances of getting on the scoresheet this weekend, as Fulham have only kept two clean sheets in their past 13 league games, and they came against relegation-battling Southampton and Ipswich Town.
Wood was on target in last season's 3-1 win over the Cottagers, and the 33-year-old has bagged in three of his side's last five away trips. At 7/4, he looks a reasonable price to score anytime at Craven Cottage.
