Watford vs Wrexham Odds

Wrexham are flying right now, winning four of their last five Championship games, and that run has strengthened their grip on a play-off spot in the second tier. Phil Parkinson’s side were impressive as they won 2-0 on Friday night in that all-Welsh clash between themselves and Swansea, and it does feel like their momentum is going to carry them close this term.

Despite a few key injuries to the likes of Kieffer Moore and Ben Sheaf, Parkinson’s squad have stepped up to the challenge. Nathan Broadhead found the net on Friday night, while Sam Smith looks to be enjoying the challenge of being the number nine in this 3-4-2-1 system.

Their Tuesday night test again Watford is one they will feel confident about having won four of their last five. Meanwhile, the Hornets are so tough to place right now under new boss Ed Still. They have scraped a draw with Sheffield Wednesday and been beaten away at Stoke in their last two outings, with the new boss not quite able to string together wins to take them closer to the top six.

Football Bet of the Day Stats

  • Wrexham have won four of their last five Championship games
  • Watford have won one of their last four

Javi Gracia struggled to get the best out of the wonderful attacking players at his disposal, and unfortunately right now, it looks like Still is having the same issues with balance. It looks like the play-offs are now out of reach for Watford, while Wrexham just keep on rolling towards them.

"That is real true spirit and resilience from all the lads involved and all the staff and all the supporters," Parkinson said after the Swansea win.

"The supporters drove us on tonight. The three points are the most important thing, but to win a Welsh derby and give our supporters that feeling that we've beaten one of our Welsh rivals is obviously very important as well."

This could be a seismic game for the Welsh side if they can achieve all three points, and I think they are a great price to do so on Tuesday night.
