Football Bet of the Day: Another away day blank for Blackburn

There's a feast of football on offer on Saturday from across the UK and Europe. For my Football Bet of the Day, I am heading to the Championship as promotion-chasing Millwall take on struggling Blackburn Rovers at The Den (15:00 GMT).
Check out my selection below, which is in the hosts' favour.
Football Bet of the Day - Saturday, March 14
- To Win To Nil - Millwall @ 7/4
*Odds correct as of the time of publication
Millwall are favoured by Betfred to win this clash at 5/6, which is fair given they are on a four-game winning streak in the second tier.
Blackburn's second-most recent outing was a draw against Portsmouth at Ewood Park. The stalemate here is valued at 5/2. Rovers are 10/3 to stun the Lions.
These two teams are in very different positions. Millwall are in a position where automatic promotion is a possibility because they are just one point behind second-placed Middlesbrough, and the Lions are in far greater form right now.
Then you have Blackburn, who are fighting for their lives towards the bottom of the table. Rovers are just one point above the relegation zone and their situation has not been helped by boss Michael O'Neill's comments regarding how the team is significantly weakened by in-game changes.
Millwall are one of the best-drilled teams in the division and they also have the third-best record at home. It is difficult to see Blackburn pulling off any miracles in this part of London on Saturday.
I am confident that the hosts will win this game but I seek better value than 5/6. I am drawn to the To Win To Nil market, which has Millwall priced at a much more attractive price of 7/4, which has an implied probability of 36.4%.
The Lions have the third-best defensive record in the division with 41 goals conceded across 37 matches. Blackburn, on the other hand, are the second-lowest scorers in the Championship with 34 goals in the same amount of fixtures.
Football Bet of the Day Stats
- 13 of Millwall's 20 league wins this season have been to nil
- 3 of the Lions' last four outings have seen them win without conceding
- Blackburn have blanked in five of their past eight Championship away games
Millwall have won 20 of their fixtures so far this term and 13 of them (65%) have seen them win without conceding. This has been a successful bet in three of their four-game winning streak heading into the weekend.
Alex Neil and his players see the opportunity in front of them and they are putting their heads down in the final weeks of the season to turn their promotion dream into a reality.
In recent years, Millwall have been a side in and around the play-off picture but they do have a real shot of going up automatically as the door has been opened by Boro in recent weeks.
Blackburn are a team who are really struggling on their travels. They have lost five of their last six, while they have also failed to score in five of their previous eight.
I am confident Millwall can triumph here with another clean sheet added to their tally.
