There’s plenty of action to pick from on Saturday as we hunt for some value, but we've taken a look at the Championship, with a big priced away win catching our eye for Saturday’s Football Bet of the Day.

Check it out down below.

Football Bet of the Day - Saturday, February 15

  • Plymouth Argyle to beat Blackburn Rovers @ 4/1

The Championship has always been an unpredictable mistress, but recent weeks have taken that theory to a whole new level. Plymouth Argyle looked completely depleted when Wayne Rooney was in charge, and were surely planning for life in League 1 next term. They were rock-bottom of the table, and even after Rooney was sacked, lost 5-0 at home to Burnley.

However, in the last few weeks something remarkable has happened. Miron Muslic started life in Plymouth with an inspirational speech that went viral, but it appeared to have fallen on deaf ears after his first few games. In the last three weeks though, results have turned, and Plymouth are looking like a side transformed.

They earnt a creditable 2-2 draw at high-flying Sunderland before overcoming West Brom at home to secure a rare win. Then, they stunned the world by beating Premier League leaders Liverpool 1-0 in the FA Cup. Although you would have thought that game may have taken it out of the players emotionally, they followed it up with a 5-1 hammering of Millwall at Home Park.

Seven points in their last three league games has lifted them off the foot of the table and brought the possibility of survival back into view. They look like a completely different outfit now under Muslic and I will always side with a team that is carrying momentum. They travel to Ewood Park on Saturday looking to win their first away league game of the season.

That’s how bad they have been. They’ve picked up just four points from 15 away league fixtures so far and lost heavily to the likes of Norwich, Leeds, Coventry and Cardiff. However, this is a new Plymouth and I am on board the Muslic express to survival. I also think it is the perfect time to be playing Blackburn.

John Eustace has just ditched the play-off contenders to take over a Derby County outfit that is in a relegation battle, and that just signifies the underlying issues at the club right now. Eustace is a top-class manager but clearly the problems behind the scenes became too much for him to deal with, and that will only put doubt into the player’s minds as well. To their credit, they responded to the news of his exit with a midweek win at West Brom, but I don’t think time will work in their favour.

In the cold light of day, they’ve been left in the lurch, and I think Plymouth could take full advantage. We are getting 4/1 on them to win their first away game of the campaign which feels like excellent value given what they have achieved over the last three weeks. They’ve slaughtered Liverpool in the cup, and they are now just one point from safety. Their first away win could unthinkably carry them out of the bottom three.
