Football Bet of the Day: Livingston can secure semi-final spot

The fourth and final Scottish Cup quarter-final takes place at Almondvale on Monday night when Championship outfit Livingston host Premiership St. Johnstone.
Livi have never gone past the semi-final stage in this competition, having made the last four in 2001 and 2004, but they are appearing in the quarters for the second year running. Saints lifted the trophy back in 2021, beating Hibernian 1-0 in the final, but can they put their poor league form behind them and keep this cup run going?

With Queen's Park exiting the competition on Saturday's 4-1 defeat to Aberdeen, Livingston are the lowest-ranked side left in the Scottish Cup and they look capable of reaching the last-four stage.
David Martindale's men are on an 11-game unbeaten run heading into this contest, winning eight (one in extra-time) and drawing three, so a visit of a struggling St. Johnstone should hold no fears.
The Saints are rock-bottom of the Premiership and their main focus will be on avoiding relegation, rather than reaching the semi-finals of the cup for the first time since winning it in 2021.
The visitors are unbeaten in two matches, having beaten Ross County before drawing against Dundee, but they have struggled on the road and that poor away form could crop its ugly head again.
Livingston vs St Johnstone Odds
Simo Valakari's side have won just one of their last nine away assignments and have registered just four wins on their travels in total this season.
There is every chance these two sides could be swapping places for the 2025/26 campaign, with the visitors currently six points adrift of 10th-placed Kilmarnock and Livi sitting third in the Championship.
While Saints have been struggling on the road, Livi have been excellent at Almondvale, having suffered just two home defeats in all competitions this term.
One of those came at the beginning of the season in the Scottish League Cup and the other was a 1-0 loss to Ayr United in December.
Livingston are unbeaten in their last six home fixtures, keeping four clean sheets during this period, and they look to have a lot going for them ahead of Monday's tie.
Another shutout may not be possible for the hosts, as they face a St. Johnstone side who have failed to score in just one of their last 10 away games, but Livi have the confidence and form to suggest they can pick up the win in normal time.
