Fivefold pays 20/1

Newcastle United to beat Borussia Dortmund @ 8/13

I’m expecting another special European night at St James’ Park. We saw just how impactful the crowd can be as they blew PSG away a couple of weeks ago in that 4-1 win. Kylian Mbappe was left astounded by that performance, and I can see another home win here.

Dortmund haven’t pulled up any trees in the Champions League so far, with two draws from two, and Newcastle have gone up another level this term. The weekend saw them batter Crystal Palace 4-0 and Eddie Howe has got them playing some fantastic football. Expect another special European night in the north east.

PSG to beat AC Milan @ 7/10

PSG are still trying to find their feet this season, and are currently two points off the league leaders Monaco in Ligue 1. However, they have picked up in recent weeks, and that Newcastle defeat is their only loss in six matches. They still have one of the finest players on the planet in Mbappe, and can gain the upper hand on a Milan side which is out of form. They’ve scored just one goal in their last three matches and will find life tough in the French capital.

Atletico Madrid to beat Celtic @ 9/10

Celtic have been beaten by Feyenoord and Lazio in their two Champions League games so far, and now they host the best team in the group, Atletico Madrid. Atleti are a serious force this season and are well in contention to win La Liga. They’ve now won six matches in a row in all competitions, and should have the quality to tear Celtic apart. The hosts are unlikely to be able to deal with the likes of Alvaro Morata and Antoine Griezmann.

Leeds United to beat Stoke City @ 10/11

I’m bullish on the promotion chances of Leeds United this season, simply down to the huge amount of attacking quality that they have. Last time out they came from behind at Carrow Road to secure an impressive 3-2 win over Norwich, and they have now won their last three on the bounce. They face a tough Stoke outfit, but should be able to find another three points here.

Ipswich Town to beat Bristol City @ EVS

I’m staggered that Ipswich are EVS for this match. They are, as they have proved so far this season, one of the top three teams in the league, along with Leicester City and Leeds. They’ve won nine from 11 matches this term, sit second in the league and are fresh after a weekend off.

Meanwhile, Bristol City were clearly second best against Coventry despite a 1-0 win and their eighth-place standing feels slightly out of whack with their performances this term. Ipswich are far superior, and likely to win this comfortably.
