Luton Town to beat Brentford @ 21/10

Luton Town are doing their best to prove the doubters wrong as they head into the final five games of the Premier League season just one point away from safety. Rob Edwards and his players have done an incredible job considering how many injuries they have had to deal with throughout the campaign.

Their home form in the final weeks is going to be vital and they entertain the inconsistent Brentford to Kenilworth Road on Saturday, and they will be seeing this as an excellent opportunity to pick up three points, which could then pull the Bees back into some danger.

Brentford are just seven points clear as things stand but that lead could reduce to four with then just four games left to play. This game is massive for both clubs' survival hopes, and we think the home advantage for the Hatters will play its part and carry Edwards' men to a huge victory.

Southampton to beat Cardiff City @ 2/5

Momentum is certainly with Southampton as they aim to make a late dash for the Championship title. The Saints are five points behind leaders Ipswich Town with a game in hand but they have been consistently picking up wins recently while all their rivals have been making mistakes.

Russell Martin's side cruised to a 3-0 win over Preston North End last time out and we think they should have no issues beating Cardiff City in south Wales this weekend. The Bluebirds are one of a few clubs in the second tier who no longer have anything to play for. They cannot go up and they cannot go down.

You have to think that they are already thinking about how to build on this campaign in 2024-25. The Saints will most likely be playing with a higher intensity in this contest and we could be about to see them record another comfortable victory as the title race continues to hot up.

Wycombe Wanderers to beat Carlisle United @ 1/1

After just one season, Carlisle United have been relegated from League 1. It has been a very disappointing year for the Cumbrian outfit and what's worse for them is that they still have games to play. Often you think a team whose fate is sealed could lead to a spark in performances, but we're not expecting that from them this weekend.

They host Wycombe Wanderers at Brunton Park, who have won two games in a row and haven't lost in their last four. The Chairboys appear to be discovering some form under Matt Bloomfield and a strong end to the campaign could aid them as they gear up for next season in the third tier. We think they offer excellent value at 1/1 to add to Carlisle's woes.

Blackpool to beat Barnsley @ 1/1

Barnsley fans are going to be very nervous heading into this weekend's huge clash at Blackpool in League 1, with the Tangerines waiting to pounce into the play-off positions. The Tykes haven't won in their last four matches which has presented an opportunity for their rivals, including Blackpool to make a late dash for a place in the top six.

They head to Bloomfield Road this weekend as Blackpool find themselves three points outside the play-offs and five behind the Yorkshire outfit. So this is a massive six-pointer.

Right now, it looks as though Barnsley are the team most likely to drop out of the top six and another defeat could see them crack. This bodes well for the hosts, who have won three on the bounce - and momentum is certainly with them.

Doncaster Rovers to beat Barrow @ 21/20

One of the stories of the season in the EFL appears to be unfolding at Doncaster Rovers because they have an excellent chance of finishing inside the League 2 play-off places. At the beginning of March, the team was 20th in the table, but after an incredible eight-game winning streak, they find themselves ninth and two points behind Crawley Town in seventh.

They host Barrow, who are currently sixth, this weekend and this match is crucial for both clubs' play-off ambitions. Momentum is clearly with Rovers thanks to that fantastic winning run, while Barrow are winless in their last four encounters, including three defeats. Doncaster are flying and you wouldn't want to bet against them at this moment in time.
