There was a fresh energy about David Moyes' side in their new surroundings, and they have made some solid signings over the summer.

Mansfield head to Merseyside on a four-match winning streak, but they could be given short shrift by their Premier League hosts on their new patch.

Amorim should get some respite in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday, though, with his side travelling to Grimsby to take on the League 2 minnows at Blundell Park.

A comfortable away win with the Premier League giants covering a two-goal deficit looks a solid bet.

Russell Martin is already under pressure as Rangers manager, and his position may become even more uncomfortable following this trip to Club Brugge.

The Gers are already 3-1 down following the first leg of this Champions League play-off at Ibrox last week, and the Belgians should finish the job on home soil.

This Champions League play-off round tie is poised delicately at 0-0, but Benfica are yet to concede in six matches this term, while they beat Nice 2-0 in both legs of the previous round in this competition.

Fener lost 2-1 at Feyenoord in their first competitive match of the season in the first leg of the third qualifying round before they stormed back in the second leg, winning 5-2 at home to progress 6-4 on aggregate.

However, Benfica are fancied to end their Champions League hopes at the play-off round stage with a win at the Estadio da Luz.
