Football Accumulator Tips: Aussies to open up 17/1 Tuesday four-fold

The A-League doesn't return until mid-October, much to my chagrin, but despite there being nearly three months until the season start date, there is high-level Aussie action, in the form of the Australia Cup, to kick off Tuesday's Football Accumulator Tips.
We also have a couple of Uefa Champions League qualifiers, and a Copa do Brasil cup tie, to accompany us in this 17.13/1 four-fold, which you can check out below.

Match Result & Both Teams to Score - Sydney FC (A) to beat Western United FC & Yes (10:30 BST) @ 9/4
The first-ever Australia Cup clash at Ironbark Fields takes place on Tuesday as Western United host Sydney FC in the round of 32.
United finished third in last season's A-League Men's, 10 points ahead of the Sky Blues (seventh), who missed out on the finals series by a point. The two sides played each other twice in 2024/25, with United emerging triumphant both times; firstly in a 4-3 success at Allianz Stadium on December 14, and then 1-0 at Ironbark Fields in Tarneit on April 27.
However, a lot has changed since then, with both clubs seeing key players depart.
United's leading marksman last season, Noah Botic, who scored 12 goals in the regular campaign before notching three times in the finals, has signed for Austrian outfit Austria Vienna, while Michael Ruhs (Brisbane Roar) and Riku Danzaki (unattached), who both bagged four goals in the 2024/25 ALM, have also left for pastures new.
Sydney FC, meanwhile, saw their own top scorer, 13-goal star Adrian Segecic, join Portsmouth in the EFL Championship, while influential German midfielder Anas Ouahim (unattached) and 11-goal forward Patryk Klimala, who returned to parent club Slask before moving to FC Seoul, are other significant departures.
Still, Ufuk Talay has, so far, kept hold of Joe Lolley, despite the English winger's desire to join ALM rivals Perth Glory, while former Brazil star Douglas Costa looks set to stick around for one more season. Costa won't play on Tuesday, but the likes of Lolley, Alexandar Popovic and Rhyan Grant, who all began their side's 2-1 friendly victory over Wrexham on July 15, look good to go, while key defender Alex Grant has recovered from his calf injury and is in line to make an appearance.
New signings Al Hassan Toure and Paul Okon Jr. have also travelled to Tarneit, where they will come up against Jaiden Kucharski, who swapped Sydney for Melbourne earlier this month. The 23-year-old, who scored three times for the Sky Blues in the ALM last season, will be desperate to exact revenge on his former side, who deemed him surplus to requirements, and I could see him scoring on his debut for United.
However, I don't think it will be enough to even force extra time at Ironbark Fields, as I fancy Sydney FC to find the net two or three times, with the hosts still coming to terms with the exit of Botic.
While Talay's charges are adapting to life after Segecic, I think they have more firepower to fall back on, and that should prove the difference here.
To Win to Nil - Dynamo Kyiv (H) to Win to Nil vs Hamrun Spartans (19:00 BST) @ 8/11
Dynamo Kyiv coasted to a 3-0 victory over Hamrun Spartans in the first leg of their Champions League second-round tie last Tuesday, with the Maltese side unable to even register a shot on target in Paola.
The return fixture takes place at the Motor Lublin Arena in Lublin, Poland, due to the ongoing situation in war-torn Ukraine, but despite not enjoying 'real' home advantage, Dynamo are expected to secure another easy win.
With the likes of Andriy Yarmolenko and Vitaliy Buyalskyy in their ranks, Dynamo's firepower should prove too much again for Hamrun, who were beaten 2-0 by Lithuanian side Zalgiris in the first leg of their first round tie earlier this month, only progressing to this stage on penalties after a 2-0 win at home in the second leg.
I don't see Hamrun posing any more threat than they did last week, so a Dynamo win to nil looks like a solid bet here.

Home Team Total Goals - Over 3.5 in Red Star Belgrade (Crvena Zvezda) vs Lincoln Red Imps FC (20:00 BST) @ 1/1
Sticking in the Champions League, Red Star Belgrade, otherwise known as Crvena Zvezda, host Lincoln Red Imps at the Stadion Rajko Mitic in Belgrade, a week after beating the same opposition 1-0 in Gibraltar.
It was a low-scoring victory for Red Star, who struck the only goal of the game in the 30th minute through Bruno Duarte, but 11 minutes after the Brazilian's breakthrough, South Korean defender Seol Young-Woo saw red, forcing the Serbian giants into a couple of changes before the second half and altering their outlook on the rest of the contest.
Rather than go for more goals, Red Star shifted their focus to keeping a clean sheet, a tactic which, ultimately, proved successful.
Back on home turf, though, and with 11 men on the pitch, I'm expecting Red Star to shine bright.
They've already got a big win under their belt this season, thrashing Javor 4-0 in their Super Liga opener on July 19, and they were rampant in front of goal in 2024/25 en route to their eighth consecutive title, netting 123 times across 37 matches.
Red Star failed to progress from the league phase of the Champions League, finishing 29th in the 36-team table, having picked up six points from eight games. However, their rally of 13 goals was only bettered by 16 sides, with no other team in the bottom 10 managing more than eight.
At home, they scored twice against Barcelona and PSV Eindhoven, losing 5-2 and 3-2, respectively, while Stuttgart were on the receiving end of a 5-1 thrashing in Belgrade.
It's difficult to make a case for anything other than a big win for Red Star on Tuesday, and I can see them scoring at least four times, so over 3.5 home team total goals appeals at EVS.
Total Goals - Under 2.5 in Botafogo FR vs Red Bull Bragantino (23:00 BST) @ 8/13
Finally, we head to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where Botafogo FR host Red Bull Bragantino in the first leg of their Copa do Brasil last-16 tie.
The sides have already met once this year, in Serie A on April 12, when Bragantino ran out 1-0 winners in Braganca Paulista thanks to a sixth-minute strike from Eduardo Sasha.
However, Tuesday's game takes place away from the Estadio Nabi Abi Chedid, at Botafogo's Estadio Olimpico Nilton Santos, where they've only lost once in 2025, with an under-strength side against Madureira in the Carioca on February 9.
Botafogo have won eight of their 11 home games since (W9, D3), but, crucially for the above selection, six, including their last two, have finished with two or fewer goals. Home or away - or on neutral ground - under 2.5 total goals has landed in their last seven matches.
Bragantino, meanwhile, have seen 11 of their last 15 away outings end with two or fewer goals, while three of their last four head-to-heads, including the most recent two, have ended with a single strike, so in a first-leg cup tie, it may be wise to back the unders.
