Most of the domestic leagues in Europe don't return until August, so we're still scraping the barrel somewhat for Monday's Football Accumulator Tips.

I've scoured the fixture list, though, and found four games of interest, which combined, offer a 7.63/1 payout.

Match Result & Total Goals Over/Under 2.5 - SJK Akatemia (H) to beat SalPa & Over 2.5 Goals (16:30 BST) @ 1/1

We kick things off in the Ykkosliiga, the second tier of Finnish football, where SJK Akatemia, the reserve side of Veikkausliiga outfit SJK, host SalPa at the OmaSp Stadion in Seinajoki.

Neither SJK Akatemia nor SalPa are enjoying good seasons so far, with the former eighth in the 10-team league, having collected 15 points from 16 games. The latter, though, are even worse off, sitting at the bottom with just six points to their name.

SalPa's away record is particularly brutal, as they have lost all eight matches on their travels this term, scoring eight goals and conceding 23. Their last six away contests have all seen over 3.5 total goals, too.

Football Odds

SJK Akatemia, meanwhile, have won three of their eight home games (W3, D1, L4), and all three victories have come in their last four at the OmaSp Stadion. Over 2.5 goals has landed six times at home this season, including their last four matches there, while all three wins saw them score at least three times, and over 3.5 total goals land.

Given the respective records, and the nine-point gap between the sides, it's hard to see past a home triumph on Monday, with plenty of goals on offer, too.

The reverse fixture finished 0-0 on June 1, but SJK Akatemia saw a penalty saved in the 21st minute, and a red card for SalPa goalkeeper Lauri-Eemil Vetri eight minutes later drastically changed the course of the contest.

SJK Akatemia and SalPa's previous head-to-head, on February 22, saw the former secure a 3-2 win.

Match Result - FC Midtjylland (H) to beat SonderjyskE (18:00 BST) @ 1/2

Moving to another Nordic country, Denmark, FC Midtjylland take on SonderjyskE in the Superliga, with the match taking place at the MCH Arena in Herning.

Midtjylland, who made an unsuccessful defence of their crown last season as they were pipped to the title by FC Copenhagen, started the new campaign off in disappointing fashion on July 20, having to come from 3-2 down to draw 3-3 at home with Odense.

Perhaps they were distracted by their upcoming Uefa Europa League second-round qualifying tie with Hibernian, the first leg of which they drew 1-1 in Herning last Thursday, and there is the danger of that repeating itself this week, with Ulvene having to go to Scotland for the second leg in three days.

Today's Football Fixtures

However, I think Midtjylland's first two results of the season will have acted as a wake-up call, and on Monday, they host a side that they have beaten competitively three times in a row at home, including a 3-2 success last August.

Sonderjyske made a solid, if unspectacular, start to their campaign last Sunday, drawing 1-1 at home to Aarhus, who lost their final seven games of last season.

I acknowledge the importance of Thursday's second leg in Edinburgh, but I think Midtjylland possess the squad to make a few changes and still beat most of their domestic rivals, so a home win appeals here, but I wouldn't be confident in backing a landslide victory.

Both Teams to Score - FC Koper vs ND Primorje (19:00 BST) @ 4/6

Slovenian side Koper were embarrassed in the first leg of their Uefa Conference League second-round qualifying tie last week, suffering a 7-0 thrashing at the hands of Viking, rendering their second leg this Thursday pretty pointless.

Consequently, we can expect Kanarcki to name a full-strength side against ND Primorje on Monday, as they shift their full focus onto the Prva Liga.

Their opponents at the Bonifika Stadium, Primorje, began their 2025/26 campaign with a 3-2 victory over Domzale on July 19, a day before Koper beat Bravo 2-1.

Primorje went unbeaten against Koper last season, winning 4-3 at the Bonifika before playing out a couple of 1-1 draws, the first in Ajdovscina, and the second back in Koper.

Both teams to score landed in each side's first league game this term, and in the last three fixtures between them, so it feels a pretty sensible selection for Monday's match, even if Koper did finish 23 points above Primorje last season.

The recent head-to-head record, supplemented by Koper's recent heavy defeat in Europe, should instill plenty of confidence in the visitors, while the hosts will obviously be expected to win, setting up a fascinating contest, and one where both teams have a great chance of getting on the scoresheet.

Match Result - Avai FC (H) to beat Botafogo SP (23:00 BST) @ 8/11

We end the night in Brazil, where Serie B rivals Avai FC and Botafogo SP battle it out at the former's Ressacada in Florianopolis.

Avai are 11th in the 20-team table, seven points ahead of bottom club Botafogo, who have failed to score in their last four games, drawing 0-0 back-to-back before going down 3-0 and 2-0.

Like their next opponents, Avai have drawn twice and lost twice in their last four outings, but they are unbeaten at home this month, with Paysandu (0-0) and Vila Nova (1-1) both failing to claim all three points on their visits to the Ressacada.

Avai's home record is pretty middle of the road this season, with 25 from nine games putting them joint-10th in the table, while no other side has conceded fewer times than Time da Raca (five) on their own patch.

Botafogo SP, meanwhile, have lost five of their eight away matches (W2, D1, L5), failing to score in all five defeats, and haven't beaten Avai since August 2020, losing two of the last three meetings.
