International football takes centre stage on Friday with various Uefa and Conmebol World Cup qualifiers taking place. The countdown is well and truly on as we are around a year away from the biggest competition in the world getting underway in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

I've scouted the games taking place across the day and I have once again hand-picked four matches to put together a four-fold for you to consider. Read on to find out my Football Accumulator Tips for Friday, June 6, of which the first games kick off at 00:00 GMT.

Draw - Ecuador vs Brazil @ 2/1

In the early hours of Friday (for the UK at least), Brazil travel to Estadio Monumental to face Ecuador for a World Cup qualifier, in what is going to be Carlo Ancelotti's first match in charge of the Selecao.

The Italian faces a tough test for his maiden game as Brazil boss as Ecuador have been excellent in this qualifying campaign. La Tri are second in the standings, two points ahead of the visitors - so this is a massive fixture on paper.

Ancelotti is going to want to get off to a perfect start in his new role and he already has a familiar face with him in Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr., who can aid the coach in getting his compatriots to implement his style.

Brazil have won just one of their past four matches in qualifying, though, while Ecuador have three victories from the same amount of fixtures. The hosts are yet to be beaten on home turf in qualifying and it is for that reason why I don't think Ancelotti will get a win on debut.

A draw seems a sensible call as Brazil may be uplifted by a new man at the helm, but they may have to settle for a point to begin with.

Argentina to beat Chile (A) @ 7/10

Reigning world champions Argentina are in action against Chile and as you can imagine, La Seleccion have been head and shoulders above everyone else in qualifying.

They have already sealed their place in next summer's finals, which will see them attempt to defend their crown, with games to spare. They are eight points clear at the summit and while they have nothing to gain from their remaining fixtures, La Albiceleste are likely going to want to build as much momentum as possible for the World Cup and I don't think they will take their foot off the gas.

In contrast to Argentina, Chile are at the bottom of the table, managing just 10 points from their 14 games to date. Consistency has been a huge issue for La Roja and it is hard to see them laying a glove on the best team in the group, who they lost 3-0 to in the reverse fixture back in September.

Italy to beat Norway (A) @ 8/5

Over in Europe, Norway face Italy in Oslo as part of their World Cup qualifying campaign. The hosts have enjoyed a flying start with two wins from two, while the Azzurri will kickstart their campaign in the Norwegian capital.

Norway have built some impressive momentum but Italy recently gave a good account of themselves in the Uefa Nations League against Germany, narrowly losing 5-4 on aggregate in their quarter-final tie.

There were signs of promise from Luciano Spalletti's side, and it may set them up nicely in their bid to reach the WC finals next year. I think they have the quality to inflict defeat upon Norway but I expect it will be a tough match as the Lovene are not to be underestimated - especially with the firepower of Erling Haaland and Alexander Sorloth up front.

Scotland to beat Iceland (H) @ 8/13

Hampden Park is the setting for a friendly between Scotland and Iceland. There might be nothing but confidence to be gained here, however, the Scots will see this as an opportunity to build momentum for their World Cup qualifying campaign which commences in September. They are in a group with Greece, Belarus and Denmark, so on paper it does look tough.

They welcome an Iceland side on Friday who have found consistency an issue for some time, and who have lost their past three matches ahead of their trip to Glasgow.

Scotland on the other hand, have won three of their previous four appearances and I think they are in much better shape than their opponents. With the added factor of being the home team, I'm confident they will come out on top in this friendly.
