Football Acca Tips: A 3/1 Treble from France, Italy & Spain

Our Cross-European Treble was a winner last time out as Jamie Pacheco returned to the profitable side of the ledger.
This week he has picked out a selection from games in Spain, France and Italy, so check out his Football Acca Tips for this weekend below for the latest edition of the 3-3-3 column...

Welcome to the 3-3-3 betting column. Why is it called that? Glad you asked. It's not a formation to play when you've had a man sent off but rather:
3- The number of different selections making up the acca.
3- The number of different (non-English) European Leagues the selections are taken from every week.
3- The minimum odds (3/1) or 4.0 if you prefer, that the acca will come to it every week.
And it really is as simple as that. The selections can be from any betting markets, as long as they meet the criteria set out above. And to round things off, every week I'll leave you with a cool (or at least I think so) bit of trivia involving one of the teams featured in the acca. Simples...
2025-26 season Current P and L: +0.71 pts
2024-25 season's P and L: + 16.9
We finally nailed it last week at the fourth time of asking and as we know, the beauty of this column is that because of the self-imposed rule that the acca's odds must come to at least 3/1, in this case 3.71/1, we're never too far away from a good recovery if we go on a bit of a lean run.
It was all pretty tight, mind. Monaco only won 2-1, as did Sporting Lisbon, the only one leg that was slightly more comfortable being the 1-0 scoreline in Roma v Torino when we needed fewer than three goals. I must admit I didn't expect Torino to win that match but then again, I couldn't really care as long as it stayed 'unders'. Which it did. Let's look to build on that at the first time of asking.
- Real Madrid vs Espanyol
- Saturday September 20 15:15
- Selection: Real Madrid to win and over 2.5 goals in the game @ 8/15
Real haven't been quite at their best this season but carry on doing just enough, a 2-1 win against Marseille in the Champions League in midweek just the latest example of that. They also won by that same scoreline against Real Sociedad and Mallorca, also beating Oviedo 3-0.
So as ever, they've got goals in them, but they've been conceding some as well, which makes for a good recipe to play the 'Real to win and over 2.5 goals in the game' market, at 8/15.
We certainly have history on our side here. The last three matches between these two in Madrid ended 4-1, 3-1 and 4-0 so any repeat of those scorelines would do us just fine.
- Lens vs Lille
- Saturday September 20 20:05
- Selection: Over 47.5 Bookings Points @ 1/2
If you were looking at the number of bookings points for these two teams individually, it might seem quite unwise to go with a high bookings count.
Lens were just about the 'over 47.5 bookings points line' with a 52.9% strike rate when at home last season, curiously exactly the same figures when away. For Lille it was just 29/4% at home and 58.8% away.
But maybe all of that is missing the point. The point is that things get pretty ugly, or pretty if you're on a high number of bookings, as we're about to be, when these two play each other.
Over 47.5 points - five yellows, or three yellows and a red - would have won in six of the last seven encounters between them, including some pretty tasty ones that had nine yellows in them.
Curiously there wasn't a red card in any of those but then again, we don't necessarily need one.
- Lazio vs Roma
- Sunday September 21 11:30
- Selection: 'No' in both teams to score @ 10/11
I'm not a big fan of these games that kick off while some are still having their breakfast and even less so when it's one of the great Derbies of football. But it is what it is, as people like to say these days.
Last season's stats on the 'both teams to score' market for Lazio and Roma, in action here with Lazio officially the home team despite the pair of them sharing the same stadium, were pretty mixed.
Lazio had good numbers for BTTS – 78/9% at home and 47.4% away – but Roma's numbers for goals at both ends were considerably lower: the same 47.4% both home and away.
So, if that means it's mixed feelings, there are other stats that strongly suggest 'no' is the way to go here. Remarkably, 'no' has been a winner in all six matches these two teams have played this season, including as we know, that 1-0 loss for Roma at home to Torino last week.
Perhaps even more remarkable is that 'no' would have won in seven of the last eight Rome Derbies, proving this is not a fixture for those who like to see goals. No problem then, we'll go with 'no' at a very decent-looking 10/11.
Jamie's Fun Fact
Real Madrid's eight league goals this season haven't exactly been shared around. Kylian Mbappe has four, Vinicius Jr has two and 20-year-old Turkish midfielder Arda Guler has two of his own.
Given Mbappe also scored two in midweek against Marseille and some of Real's big attacking stars, those three aside, might need to start getting their shooting boots on. Because right now, they're not really pulling their weight.
