USA
USA trio Cristian Roldan (muscle), Mark McKenzie (foot) and Auston Trusty (ankle) will all need to have their injuries assessed ahead of the game on Wednesday.
Mauricio Pochettino has no other fresh concerns to worry about and so most of his core players will be available to play. This includes Sergino Dest, Chris Richards, Antonee Robinson, Tyler Adams, Malik Tillman, Christian Pulisic and Weston McKennie.
With two goals at the tournament so far and a strong 2025/26 campaign with Monaco, Folarin Balogun could be involved in a transfer saga this summer. The former England youth international is going to continue leading the line for the Stars and Stripes.
Bosnia-Herzegovina
Amar Dedic (thigh) is the only injury concern for Bosnia at the moment, so Sergej Barbarez can name a strong XI to face the host nation. The Dragons' boss may consider recalling Tarik Muharemovic, who returns from suspension, to the starting lineup.
Edin Dzeko is waiting to open his account at this tournament but the 40-year-old striker has the most caps for his country and he's their all-time top scorer with 73 goals. He and Ermedin Demirovic are expected to spearhead Bosnia's attack once again.
After coming off the bench to net his second goal of the tournament, midfielder Ermin Mahmic is pushing to start in Santa Clara.

USA vs Bosnia-Herzegovina Key Players:
Christian Pulisic (USA)
Bosnia haven't been brilliant in North America but they are also a side who USA shouldn't underestimate. Bosnia have largely looked very organised defensively, and it was only a red card that led to the floodgates opening in their defeat against Switzerland.
They frustrated Canada on matchday one and they will try to do the same to Pochettino's men. I think the creative nous of Pulisic will be vital in this contest. The AC Milan winger has one assist to his name at the tournament and he'll look to build on that in the knockout stage.
His flair will be required to unlock a stubborn defence so that Balogun will have chances to score goals.
Nikola Vasilj (Bosnia-Herzegovina)
USA's attacking patterns have looked good during the group stage and I'm expecting them to dominate proceedings in this fixture. They have a lot of attacking players who can pose a big problem for Bosnia's defence, so I think that there will be an added responsibility on the shoulders of goalkeeper Nikola Vasilj.
He's been very busy at the World Cup so far and I think this will continue against the USA. Having departed St. Pauli this summer, the shot-stopper is also playing for a contract as he seeks a new club for the upcoming season.
