South Africa
Bafana Bafana recovered admirably from their opening game reverse against Mexico, but the hangover still lingers as Themba Zwane serves the last match of a three-game ban.
Teboho Mokoena is available following his suspension for the 1-0 win over South Korea that took South Africa through to this stage.
Yaya Sithole was sent off against Mexico but returned to play 90 minutes in that win over South Korea.
Canada
Jesse Marsch's side have lost Ismael Kone for the remainder of the tournament after he suffered a tibia fracture against Qatar, while Stephen Eustaquio and Alfie Jones are further fitness doubts heading to Los Angeles.
Promise David scored in the 2-1 loss to Switzerland almost immediately after coming off the bench but is likely to have a supporting role once again.
Alphonso Davies has been on the Canadian bench for all three games so far and the Bayern Munich defender will be hoping he's fit enough to play some part in this knockout tie.

Key Players
Thapelo Maseko (South Africa)
The matchwinner against South Korea, the 22-year-old Mamelodi Sundowns winger has put injuries behind him to star at this World Cup.
He played well against Czech Republic in a 1-1 draw and no Bafana Bafana player had more touches in the South Korean box than Maseko's seven, while he had five shots at goal.
He was denied in the first half by some last-ditch defending but his goal just after the hour was just reward for his endeavour, as he controlled a low cross and then rifled home an instinctive shot into the bottom corner.
Jonathan David (Canada)
The Juventus forward scored a World Cup hat-trick in the historic trouncing of Qatar that secured Canada's first World Cup win and he's going to have a key role now if the Canucks are to make further progress.
Boss Marsch labelled David "the smartest player I've ever coached" before the tournament and with 42 goals he's Canada's record goalscorer.
His workrate is allied to a coolness in front of goal that could be critical in Los Angeles when the big moments present themselves.
