Player to Score (Sub Switch) - Jude Bellingham (ENG)

Who else?

Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has been England's main man at this World Cup, scoring six times and registering one assist.

The 23-year-old struck twice in the group stage, netting the Three Lions' third in a 4-2 victory over Croatia and opening the scoring in a 2-0 win against Panama, but it's in the knockouts where he has truly come alive.

After skipper Harry Kane's double saw off DR Congo 2-1 in the round of 32, Bellingham has since taken centre stage, bagging a brace in a 3-2 last-16 success over Mexico and adding another two in a 2-1 extra-time victory over Norway in the quarter-finals.

One could argue that Argentina represent a step up in class from the opponents England have previously played in North America, but Bellingham has proven before that he can pack a punch against the elite; how does four goals in six La Liga Clasicos with FC Barcelona sound?

Argentina have already shipped five goals in the knockouts, including two apiece to Cape Verde and Egypt, so Bellingham should be confident of adding La Albiceleste to his victim list on Wednesday.

Player to Score (Sub Switch) - Lionel Messi (ARG)

Messi's record nine-match World Cup scoring streak ended against Switzerland, who stopped Argentina's captain making it 10 in their 3-1 extra-time defeat last weekend.

Still, Messi's confidence won't be knocked by that, and he'll relish the opportunity to get back onto the scoresheet at a ground where he has played seven times previously, scoring three times, twice for his current club side, Inter Miami, and once for Argentina in their 3-2 last-16 victory over Egypt last week.

Like Argentina, England's defence has been far from solid in the knockouts, with DR Congo (one), Mexico (two) and Norway (one) all breaching their back line. Erling Haaland was kept relatively quiet in the quarters, but the Manchester City still registered a shot on target, despite looking leggy.

Messi doesn't require much, if any, fitness to make himself the star of the show, so we could easily see him walk around for 90-plus minutes and still grab a goal.

England vs Argentina Odds

Player 2+ Fouls Won - Anthony Gordon (ENG)

England winger Anthony Gordon, who was signed by Messi's former club Barcelona from Newcastle United prior to this tournament, has been fouled nine times in North America, including six times across his last two appearances.

The 25-year-old was fouled three times in England's goalless group-stage draw with Ghana, four times in their last-16 triumph over Mexico, and twice against Norway last time out.

Argentina, meanwhile, have seen the opposing team's starting left winger fouled twice in three of their last four games.

Ali Olwan was taken down twice in La Albiceleste's 3-1 group-stage success over Jordan, Jovane Cabral was also fouled the same number of times in Cape Verde's round-of-32 defeat, and Egypt's Emam Ashour completed a hat-trick of two fouls in the last 16, despite being withdrawn at half-time.

Double Chance (90 mins) - England or Draw

Having been taken to extra-time by both Cape Verde and Switzerland, the latter having been reduced to 10 men in the 72nd minute, and only scraping past Egypt thanks to a stoppage-time strike, I'm finding it difficult to make a case for Argentina winning Wednesday's game in regulation time.

England have been taken to extra-time only once, by Norway in the quarters, albeit they weren't far away from another 30 minutes against DR Congo and Mexico, so that's probably why I can't go all in on the Thomas Tuchel's charges, either.

Still, out of the two teams, I have slightly more faith in the Three Lions, who I believe can at least take Lionel Scaloni's side to extra-time in Atlanta, so the Double Chance on them in 90 minutes appeals here as the fourth leg of this Bet Builder.
