It is a straight tussle for top spot in Group C between Denmark and Scotland for a place at the World Cup with both nations currently tied on 10 points. It means there is plenty to play for with just two games to go, with a sizzling meeting between the two to come on Tuesday night.

Napoli forward Rasmus Hojlund should lead the line again for the hosts, especially considering both Yussuf Poulsen and Will Osula have had to withdraw from the squad through injury. 

Rasmus Kristensen returns from his injury to feature while there are also recalls for Phillip Billing and Victor Nelsson, with Stuttgart’s Nikolas Nartey in the squad for the first time. Familiar faces Christian Eriksen, Andreas Christensen and Pierre Emile-Hojbjerg should all start. 

Belarus are making major changes to their squad, with 10 players being left out of Carlos Alos’s latest squad that were included in October.

Celje forward Vitaly Lisakovich is the top scorer for his country, but he only has seven goals for Belarus. Still, he is likely to lead the attack.

Hojlund has flourished since making the move to Napoli and now he has his confidence back in front of goals. He’s scored four in 10 games in all competitions this term and will fancy his chances against a Belarus outfit that has conceded 15 goals in four matches already in this group. 

Denmark -5 handicap @ 4/1

Denmark beat Belarus 6-0 away from home while they also hit three past Greece on two occasions in this group. Now on home soil and keen to make a big impression before that crunch game against Scotland, they will want to rack a major advantage on the Scots in terms of goal difference. 

They are currently on +11 to Scotland’s +5, and so a draw on Tuesday should be enough if they win here, but they will want to fire in the goals against this poor Belarus outfit. This should be a heavy home win to nil.
