Curacao vs Trinidad & Tobago Prediction: The fairy tale continues?

The Stadion Ergilio Hato will host Curacao vs Trinidad and Tobago at 00:00 BST on Wednesday morning, and it’s a crunch game for the home side. Curacao are writing one of the greatest World Cup qualification stories and are now three games away from making it to their very first finals.
If they can beat Trinidad and Tobago, they will stay top of their group with two to play, knowing that top spot will guarantee them a place at the 2026 World Cup. Below you can find my Curacao vs Trinidad & Tobago predictions.

Team News
Curacao are likely to keep an unchanged XI from the team that beat Jamaica, with the Bacuna brothers, Juninho and Leandro lining up in midfield together. They are the beating heart of this team, and are hoping to take the island nation all the way to the World Cup.
Middlesbrough’s Sontje Hansen made his debut in the final third last time out and should keep his place, alongside Jearl Margaritha and Jurgen Locadia, formerly of PSV and Brighton.
For Trinidad and Tobago, Levi Garcia should start up front again with Dante Sealy and Tyrese Spicer offering support in wide areas. Kobi Henry and Josia Trimmingham kept a clean sheet in defence last time out, in front of goalkeeper Denzil Smith, and they will be hoping for a similar performance in this tricky away game.

- Curacao have won eight of their last 13, losing just once
- The reverse fixture ended 0-0
Curacao to win @ 4/6
I backed against Caracao when they beat Jamiaca, and I won’t make that same mistake again. There is something special going on with this team, and they are excellent at home having beaten both Bermuda and Jamaica in their last two.
They are playing really well from an attacking sense too, having scored five goals in their last two outings, and while Trinidad and Tobago held them to a 0-0 draw in the opening game of this group, things will be much tougher on the road. The visitors were well beaten by Jamaica, a team Curacao beat last time out and while they were impressive against Bermuda - all the other teams should be beating them in this qualification campaign.

Price Boost - Curacao to win both halves @ 4/1
A price too good to turn down in my opinion. I’m all aboard the Curacao train to the World Cup, and if they can land a major win here, the pressure will really be on Jamaica the next time these two teams meet. With the momentum they’ve built up, I think they will fancy their chances up against a hit and miss Trinidad and Tobago outfit.
The Blue Family have only experienced one defeat in their last 13 competitive clashes, having won eight of those matches, so this price on Dick Advocaat’s men to win both halves looks worthy of a small stake.
