Colombia

Colombia have no injury concerns heading into this tie and we can expect a similar Los Cafeteros side to the one we've seen throughout the group stage.

Daniel Munoz was rested in the third group match against Portugal and the right back, who has two goals to his name, is expected to come back into the team.

Luis Diaz is the star man in attack and he'll be playing alongside veteran James Rodriguez, who was one of the standout performers at the 2014 tournament in Brazil.

Jhon Cordoba replaced Luis Suarez to lead the line against Portugal because the latter was a slight injury doubt. Suarez made a cameo in the second half but he might have to settle for a spot on the bench again on Friday.

Ghana

An ankle injury to winger Antoine Semenyo casts doubt over his involvement for Ghana on Friday. The Manchester City star has struggled to make his mark at the World Cup despite a strong Premier League campaign.

Goalkeeper Benjamin Asare looks like he'll have to fill in for Lawrence Ati Zigi again as the latter continues to struggle with a groin problem.

Ghana reverted from a back five against England to a back four against Croatia. Given they lost the last fixture, they may add an extra body to their back line against an unbeaten Colombia outfit.

Colombia vs Ghana Key Players:

Daniel Munoz (Colombia)

Colombia full back Munoz doesn't need to be asked twice to venture forward to join the attack. Having seen first-hand how Ghana approached their game plan against England, I can see them doing something similar against Colombia.

They will try to contain the wide attackers Diaz and Jhon Arias, but this may then open the door for Munoz to come in and unlock their defence on the overlap. He has two goals so far and he's just as good at creating chances, as we've seen from him over the last couple of years with Crystal Palace.

Marvin Senaya (Ghana)

Ghana defender Marvin Senaya was impressive in the goalless draw with England as he featured as the right centre back. He's traditionally a right back, so if Carlos Queiroz decides to stick with a back four against Colombia, Senaya is set to be charged with handling Diaz, who has had an excellent year with Bayern Munich and a bright start to this tournament.

Nullifying Diaz and Munoz is likely going to be the Black Stars' focus on Friday in Kansas City.
