Belgium

Belgium defender Zeno Debast has been out injured for the entirety of the group stage, but he returned to training on Sunday so he may be involved for the first time on Wednesday against Senegal.

Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is the fixture in this team and he's set to earn his 113th cap here. The veteran mentioned earlier in the tournament that he was considering retiring from international football once Belgium's World Cup concludes.

Nathan Ngoy is back from suspension and he'll be hoping for an immediate return to the back line.

Maxim De Cuyper and Timothy Castagne should continue operating as the Red Devils' full-backs. Leandro Trossard has two goals to his name so far and he's set to feature in attack alongside, Kevin De Bruyne, Jeremy Doku and Charles De Ketelaere.

Striker Romelu Lukaku has had to settle for just one start in North America so far.

Senegal

Senegal look set to miss goalkeeper Edouard Mendy for the second game running because of a knee issue. He picked it up against Norway and he's since departed the Lions of Teranga's camp to have his injury assessed by his club Al-Ahli.

Abdoulaye Seck turned in a positive display against Iraq, so he may continue to keep fellow defender Kalidou Koulibaly out of the side.

Boss Pape Thiaw freshened up his attacking trio last time out, with Ibrahim Mbaye replacing Nicolas Jackson. Ismaila Sarr played centrally so Thiaw could keep this front three the same or restore Jackson to lead the line.

Iliman Ndiaye has found game time limited at the tournament but he impressed with a goal and an assist in the 5-0 thrashing of Iraq last time out.

Belgium vs Senegal Key Players:

Leandro Trossard (Belgium)

Everyone thought Jeremy Doku was going to be Belgium's star man at the World Cup because of his flair and the season he's just had with Manchester City. But it's Trossard who's had the biggest impact from out wide, contributing two goals and an assist at the tournament so far, while Doku is yet to make his mark.

I think these two teams will be quite evenly-matched, so it looks like moments of individual brilliance might just win the day. Trossard has had a few big moments in North America and I wouldn't be surprised if he were to have another here.

Ismaila Sarr (Senegal)

After missing a glaring chance against France on matchday one, Senegal's Sarr has fixed-up in the final third. The winger has three goals and one assist to his name at the World Cup and he looks to be the Lions of Teranga's biggest threat against Belgium.

His pace and trickery are sure to cause plenty of problems for De Cuyper, who likes to operate high up the field. Sarr is full of confidence right now and he's the key figure in this team right now.
