England's final match before jetting off to Euro 2024 comes against Iceland at Wembley Stadium on Friday night (19:45, Channel 4), with Gareth Southgate likely to try out his favoured XI. This is the last chance that England boss has to experiment if he wishes before the tournament in Germany, but by this point he should know exactly who is preferred starters are.

I have put together a 7/1 bet builder using Betfred's #PickYourPunt feature. Below I have outlined the reasons behind my England vs Iceland bet builder tips. And after landing my 7/2 selection for the Bosnia-Herzegovina clash, I'm hoping for more fortune here.

England vs Iceland Bet Builder Tips

Over 2.5 goals England goals

The Three Lions left it late to record a 3-0 victory over Bosnia-Herzegovina at St James' Park on Monday night in what wasn't their most convincing performance, but on the international stage, finding a way to win when not at your best is key and the mark of would-be champions.

Cole Palmer opened the scoring on the hour-mark from the spot, before Trent Alexander-Arnold and Harry Kane rounded off the victory late on. I tipped England to score at least two goals on Monday, but after that showing, I'm confident they can score three again here.

Suspecting we might see a strong lineup, we could see England's attack consist of Kane, Bukayo Saka, Phil Foden and Jude Bellingham, and between them there is an abundance of creativity and goals.

As this is the last chance to develop a rhythm before their Euros opener with Serbia, the Three Lions will want to put in a strong performance, and one that is better than that of Monday. They will also want to raise the home supporters' hopes for the summer too, which is why I am inclined to back a fruitful attacking display from the hosts.

Harry Kane first goalscorer

I correctly went with Palmer to open the scoring with Bosnia, but I was rather fortunate that he stepped up to take the penalty. On this occasion, the honour I think will return to Kane, who more often than not tends to get the Three Lions going.

England's all-time leading men's scorer heads into this summer off the back of an outstanding individual campaign with Bayern Munich, managing 42 goals in all competitions, and his goal against Bosnia will have only added to his confidence ahead of another crack at winning his first piece of major silverware in his playing career.

Southgate will want his potent goalscorer to head into the Serbia clash with momentum and those feelings will be shared by the England captain. The hosts will look to set the tempo early and with the creative talent surrounding him I am confident that we will see Kane land the first blow in Friday's fixture.

Both teams to score - No

After limiting Bosnia to just one shot on Monday, I believe that England can manage a successive shut-out against Iceland. Defensive organisation and solidity is crucial in knockout tournaments and it would be a key asset for the Three Lions to have at the Euros.

It ended a run of three games without a clean sheet for them and now they have got one, they will look to add another as it will give them great confidence ahead of the Serbia match.

Iceland have found the back of the net in their last four matches but I think they will find it difficult to have chances against England after they dominated the ball against Bosnia last time out.

I think the visitors will be spending most of the game fixated on their own goal rather than England's because the Three Lions will likely set the tempo and demonstrate their possession skills.
