Deportivo Alaves vs Valencia Prediction: Stalemate a big runner

Carlos Corberan was brought in to save Valencia from La Liga relegation but he has done an impressive job and now they are battling it out for Europe.
Next up for Los Che is a trip to Mendizorroza to take on a Deportivo Alaves side still hoping to stave off relegation themselves.
Wednesday’s clash is scheduled to kick-off at 18:00 and is available to watch on Premier Sports 2. Below you can find my Deportivo Alaves vs Valencia predictions.

Team news
Abdel Abqar is set to miss out for Deportivo Alaves with a hamstring injury while key striker Kike Garcia is facing a race against time to recover from an adductor issue. Nahuel Tenaglia could return to the starting lineup after coming off the bench in the weekend loss at Athletic Bilbao.
For the visitors, Thierry Correia remains out with a knee injury and Javi Guerra is suspended thanks to an accumulation of yellow cards. Max Aarons is working his way back from a calf injury and could feature.
Pepelu and Andre Almeida were forced off against Getafe last time out but are expected to be fit for this clash.
Deportivo Alaves vs Valencia odds
Deportivo Alaves have been installed as 11/10 favourites for the victory, while Valencia are on offer at 11/4 and the draw is available at 11/5.
Goals are not expected with over 2.5 available to back at 11/8, while both teams to score is priced at 11/10 and it is 5/2 for over 1.5 goals in the first half.
Draw @ 11/5
The race to avoid the drop in La Liga is extremely competitive, with seven teams separated by seven points as they look to avoid joining Valladolid in the two remaining relegation places.
Deportivo Alaves are one of those teams, they currently sit just a point above the drop zone with three games to go, the first of which sees them host Valencia.
The visitors have been on a fine run under Carlos Corberan and now have a solid chance of sneaking into a European spot.
However, their away record leaves a bit to be desired, as they have won just two of their 17 road trips.
Eight of those away games have ended in stalemate and that is the selection for this game, which will have a major impact on both the relegation battle and the fight for Europe.

Hugo Duro anytime goalscorer @ 23/10
Valencia striker Hugo Duro has had a major say in his side’s recent success, netting three times in their last two matches.
The 25-year-old is also Corberan’s go-to player for penalties so looks a strong contender to get on the scoresheet in this clash.
