Rayo Vallecano vs Strasbourg Odds
Rayo Vallecano to win
Rayo Vallecano have made the Estadio de Vallecas a fortress this season and the Red Sashes are ready to add another home success.
Inigo Perez's men have lost only three of their 23 all-competition home games this term and that isn't simply a case of avoiding defeat against inferior teams.
Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Real Betis and Celta Vigo have all been turned away from the Estadio de Vallecas winless and those sides occupy five of the top-six positions in the La Liga table.
Villarreal are the only side in the top-six avoid the same fate, but Rayo are yet to face the Yellow Submarine and the almost impenetrable base.
Strasbourg are a decent side, but they were beaten 2-0 in Mainz in the previous round of the Conference League and have lost three of their last five matches.
Le Racing were only narrow 2-1 winners, giving up 19 shots in Rijeka in the playoffs and Gary O'Neil's men have struggled on the road.
Rayo can continue their excellent home run with a first-leg semi-final success.
Over 2.5 goals
Rayo have seen five of their last six games go over 2.5 goals and there have been a total of 17 strikes in their last five matches.
Sunday's La Liga tie with Real Sociedad at the Estadio de Vallecas saw the net bulge on six occasions and the contest featured a whopping 37 efforts on goal. That was a contest which also saw Rayo have two goals chalked off after a VAR review.
Strasbourg are not scared to go forward either, with 25 goals scored in their previous seven fixtures. However, O'Neil's men allowed an expected goals total of 2.28 when winning 3-2 at Lorient last time out and they are not watertight at the back.
Over 2.5 goals looks a solid second-leg of a bet builder.
Jorge de Frutos to score at anytime
Jorge de Frutos started from the bench against Sociedad at the weekend, but the Rayo forward has made a good impact from wide positions this season and the 29-year-old can get on the scoresheet.
The former Levante man has hit 12 goals for Rayo this season and he is averaging 2.23 shots per 90 minutes in La Liga this term.
Strasbourg's defence gives up plenty of chances, 44 shots and seven goals conceded in their last three games, and De Frutos can cause them more problems.
