Chelsea and Leicester City will lock horns at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon (12:45 on BBC One), for a place in the FA Cup semi-finals.

The Blues edged past Leeds United in the previous round, while Leicester got the better of Bournemouth after extra time. Here are our Chelsea vs Leicester predictions, featuring team news and match odds on offer for the game.

Chelsea vs Leicester Prediction

  • Chelsea -1 @ 11/10
  • Cole Palmer to score anytime @ 11/10

Team News

Ben Chilwell has returned to training for the hosts following a knee issue, and Benoit Badiashile could also make a return here too.

However, Wesley Fofana, Reece James, Lesley Ugochukwu, Levi Colwill, Romeo Lavia and Christopher Nkunku remain out of contention. In addition, Enzo Fernandez will be suspended for this contest.

As for the visitors, Ricardo Pereira and Dennis Praet have both suffered hamstring injuries in recent weeks, and the duo will be joined on the sidelines by Kasey McAteer.

Match Odds

With this being a cup tie, 90-minute betting will apply.

The odds of 2/5 for the home win implies that Chelsea have a 71.4% chance of booking their place in the next round, whilst Leicester are 6/1, or a 14.3% chance to book their place in the FA Cup semi-finals.

The draw can be backed at 4/1, while both teams to find the net is priced up at 8/11.

Chelsea -1 @ 11/10

Having seen off Preston, Aston Villa and Leeds so far, Chelsea are heavily-favoured to advance to the FA Cup semi-finals on Sunday.

The Blues have won nine of their last 13 home games in all competitions, and Leicester's form is a worry for those seeking a minor cup upset, as the Foxes have seen their lead at the summit of the Championship table reduced to three points, after winning just one of their last five games in the league.

Chelsea have come up against several Championship opponents in the cups this year and won all four meetings, some by wide margins in the case of the 6-1 EFL Cup win over Middlesbrough. Mauricio Pochettino's side needed a last-gasp winner against Leeds, and while I believe Leicester can put up a fight, I think Chelsea -1 at 11/10 provides some decent odds-against value.

Chelsea -1 at 11-10

Cole Palmer to score anytime @ 11/10

Cole Palmer has scored 13 goals in 32 domestic appearances for Chelsea this season.

He has been the Blues’ most consistent performer and comes into this game after a goal and an assist in Monday’s 3-2 win over Newcastle United.

Cole Palmer to score anytime at 11-10
