Chelsea vs Fulham Stats-Based Bet Builder Tips: Interesting Andersen angle in 20/1 shot

It's gameweek three in the Premier League this weekend, and Chelsea are already on their third London derby, having followed up a goalless draw at home to Crystal Palace with a 5-1 win at West Ham United last Friday. On Saturday (12:30 BST, TNT Sports 1), the Blues take on west London rivals Fulham, who are undefeated - but also winless - after their opening two games.
Below are my Chelsea vs Fulham Stats-Based Bet Builder Tips, with my four selections from Stamford Bridge combining for a 20/1 payout.
Chelsea vs Fulham Stats-Based Bet Builder Tips

Both Teams to Score - Yes
The two teams exchanged a pair of 2-1s last season, with Fulham winning by that scoreline at Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day, before Chelsea exacted their revenge at Craven Cottage on April 20.
The Blues saw both teams score in 58% (22) of their 38 Premier League games in 2024/25, with that number rising to 63% at home.
The Cottagers, meanwhile, topped the Premier League BTTS table alongside Brighton & Hove Albion, with the selection a winner in 71% (27) of their matches.
Fulham are one of three clubs - Liverpool and Nottingham Forest are the other two - who have seen the line land in both league games this season, after drawing 1-1 with both Brighton (A) and Manchester United (H).
It was a winner between Chelsea and West Ham last week, too, with Enzo Maresca's men trouncing the Irons 5-1 at the London Stadium.
Backing both teams to score looks like the most obvious play here.
Joachim Andersen (FUL) Total Shots - 1+
Backing opposing centre-backs to take shots could be a wise move with Chelsea this season, with Levi Colwill ruled out for a long period with an ACL injury.
It's an angle I spoke about in my Chelsea vs Crystal Palace Stats-Based Bet Builder Tips two weeks ago, although I backed the wrong defender - Maxence Lacroix - instead of Chris Richards, who got his head to a set-piece delivery in the ninth minute of that goalless draw at Stamford Bridge.
Then, last Friday at the London Stadium, the reigning Fifa Club World Cup and Uefa Conference League champions conceded three shots to centre-backs. Nayef Aguerd missed the target with both of his headed efforts from corners, while Max Kilman was similarly inaccurate with his header from a corner. Towering Czech midfielder Tomas Soucek and English striker Callum Wilson also had headed shots fail to hit the target.
Chelsea centre-backs Trevoh Chalobah and Tosin Adarabioyo are 6ft 4in and 6ft 5in, respectively, but West Ham still managed five headed efforts at goal, and if Liam Delap is benched on Saturday, the Blues will lose further height from set-pieces.
Fulham's 6ft 4in defender Joachim Andersen is pretty handy at attacking set-pieces, averaging 0.7 shots per game in the Premier League last season, and he's someone Marco Silva's side will look to on Saturday as they target one of Chelsea's most notable deficiencies.
Chelsea vs Fulham Bet Builder Stats
- BTTS-Yes landed in both H2Hs in 24/25
- Joachim Andersen (FUL) averaged 0.7 shots per PL game last season
- Sasa Lukic (FUL) was booked 12 times in 30 PL apps last term
- Moises Caicedo (CHE) picked up 11 yellows in 24/25 PL
Player Shown Any Card - Sasa Lukic (FUL)
No player was booked more times in the Premier League last season than Fulham midfielder Sasa Lukic (12), who is already up and running for the new campaign after receiving a yellow card late on in last Sunday's stalemate with Man United.
The 29-year-old only made a couple of fouls against the Red Devils, three fewer than he recorded the weekend prior against Brighton, but paid the price for a cynical challenge on Bruno Fernandes.
Lukic was booked in the 34th minute of last season's corresponding fixture with Chelsea for a foul on their midfield enforcer Moises Caicedo, who won, on average, 1.5 fouls per Premier League game in 2024/25, and has won a free-kick in each of his matches so far this term.
He could pose more problems on Saturday for Lukic, who averaged 2.2 fouls per game in the English top flight last term, and the Serbian is already on 3.5 per game in 2025/26.
Player Shown Any Card - Moises Caicedo (CHE)
Speaking of Caicedo, the Ecuadorian has been booked 11 times in each of his Premier League campaigns for Chelsea, joining the club from Brighton, where he received 10 in his final season.
The 23-year-old is a combative presence in the middle of midfield, and a west London derby could bring out the devil in him again on Saturday after picking up a yellow in the Blues' win at Craven Cottage earlier this year.
Caicedo didn't make a foul in Chelsea's opening game against Palace, but he was whistled twice by the referee at West Ham last Friday, and could fly into a few challenges in west London this weekend.
