Middlesbrough vs Southampton TV: Where to watch Championship play-off semi-final?

The Championship play-offs are starting this weekend and Southampton and Middlesbrough come into their semi-final having had very different journeys to reach this stage.

Southampton have risen rapidly under Tonda Eckert after a miserable start to the season, while Middlesbrough’s poor end of season form cost them a spot in the top two. It’s now all to play for, and only one of them can make it to Wembley. 

What time is kick-off?

Middlesbrough vs Southampton kicks off at the Riverside Stadium at 12:30pm on Saturday, May 9.

This play-off semi-final is live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football, with the programme starting half an hour before kick-off at 12pm. You can also watch via NOW or the Sky Sports app.

When is the second leg?

The second leg of Southampton vs Middlesbrough, takes place on Tuesday night at 8pm. Both teams will hope make a big impression in the first leg to give themselves the advantage heading to the South Coast, so the first leg is certainly going to be an enthralling watch.
