Watford vs West Brom Stats
- Watford have created the fourth-highest xG in the Championship
- Luca Kjerrumgaard has scored two league goals this season
Watford to beat West Brom @ 15/8
Expectations were pretty high in Hertfordshire with a fair bit of summer investment, but the Hornets slipped to 16th in the Championship table after the weekend’s 1-0 defeat to Sheffield United.
Javi Gracia has replaced Paulo Pezzolano in the dugout and things may not be as quite as bad as the league table suggests.
Watford are the fourth-best team in the second tier on the expected goals numbers and the Hornets are outperforming West Brom on that measure.
Prior to the narrow 1-0 defeat in the Steel City, the Golden Boys had recorded home wins over Oxford and Hull and they can make it three Vicarage Road wins on the spin when West Brom come to town.

Luca Kjerrumgaard to score first @ 11/2
Luca Kjerrumgaard has scored two league goals this season and the 22-year-old could be the man to open the scoring on Wednesday night.
The Dane is averaging 2.14 shots on goal per 90 minutes and the giant striker is more of a handful than his goalscoring record suggests.
West Brom were beaten 3-0 at Millwall in their most recent away league game, and they have also shipped two goals at Wrexham and Middlesbrough this season. They have been vulnerable on the road at times and Kjerrumgaard is poised to take advantage of any more poor defending on Wednesday.
