Team News

Ryan Leonard came off the Millwall bench in the 2-0 loss at Blackburn for his first appearance in six weeks and will be pushing for a start. Femi Azeez sits out the second game of a three-match ban.

Ipswich will be without six-goal frontman George Hirst, who limped out of Saturday's 3-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday.

Today's Football Fixtures

Millwall vs Ipswich Odds

Millwall are being hung out at 11/4 with Ipswich just a 21/20 chance. It's 9/4 the draw.

There have been over 2.5 goals in the last seven meetings between these two yet that is an 11/10 shot.

Millwall Draw No Bet @ 13/8

Millwall look an enticing price to beat Ipswich at The Den in what should be a post-Christmas cracker.

The Lions, despite home advantage and a decent season, are huge-price outsiders to topple Ipswich, probably too big.

They are certainly worth considering at 13/8 with the Draw No Bet as a safety net.

Alex Neil's Lions might be going through a minor slump at the moment but they are hardly falling apart.

They forced their way into the top six on the back of a trio of outstanding wins over Sheffield Wednesday, Southampton and Bristol City before drawing 1-1 at Derby.

It is the back-to-back losses against Hull and Blackburn which are disappointing, but having beaten Leicester and the Saints at home, why not take them to complete a Den treble over the three sides relegated from the Premier League.

Ipswich are going well and are up to third after three wins in four. But it's also worth noting they have not won in three on their travels, including a 2-1 loss at Oxford.

Highest Scoring Half - 2nd Half @ 23/20

Expect plenty of respect between these two with Millwall soaking up what Ipswich can offer and trying to catch the Tractor Boys on the counter.

It could be a tense and edgy start between two teams in the thick of the promotion hunt, but expect fireworks the longer the game goes on.

Only Coventry have scored more second-half goals than Ipswich this season (25) with 62 percent of goals in their games coming after the interval.

There have been a league-high 17 goals in the final 15 minutes of Millwall's games this season so the signs are there for an action-packed - and goal-laden - second period.
