Wrexham 2-1 Swansea @ 15/2

Wrexham lost at home to Hull in midweek, while Swansea earned an impressive away win at Portsmouth. This Welsh clash on Friday night should deliver fireworks, but I will back the home side to get back to winning way, with both teams on the scoresheet.

Nick: 2-1

Conor: 2-1

Middlesbrough 3-0 Bristol City @ 10/1

Middlesbrough were handed a shock on Wednesday night as Charlton came to the Riverside and landed a 1-0 win, a defeat that leaves Boro just one point above Millwall heading into the weekend.

Luckily for them, they’ve been handed a kind fixture as an out-of-sorts Bristol City outfit come to town. They’ve lost four games in a row, scoring just one goal - crashing out of the FA Cup to Port Vale in that time. Gerhard Struber’s future looks uncertain.

Nick: 2-0

Conor: 2-0

Coventry 1-1 Southampton @ 7/1

Six in a row for the league leaders and Frank Lampard’s men now look destined for the Premier League. The gap has been bumped up to nine points between themselves and Millwall in third, with just nine games to go. A home test against Southampton will be tricky though, and I’m expecting a lot of needle after the handbags in the first game. I’ll go for a draw in this one.

Nick: 2-1

Conor: 2-2

Oxford 1-1 Charlton @ 11/2

Oxford have landed three wins in a row at a crucial time in their season. They are now level on points with Leicester and above West Brom in the table, and a home game against Charlton is more than winnable. The Addicks are coming off the back of a massive win of their own however, and I can see this one being a hard-fought draw.

Leicester 1-0 QPR @ 6/1

Two kind home fixtures back-to-back might be just what the doctor ordered for Gary Rowett. His side beat Bristol City in midweek to give themselves a shot at survival, while QPR lost their fourth game in a row without scoring. Julian Stephan’s men are sinking like a stone.

Nick: 2-0

Conor: 3-0

Millwall 2-0 Blackburn @ 7/1

One point off the automatic places after another midweek win, Millwall are absolutely flying right now. A home game against a Rovers side that lost to Oxford in midweek and are now in serious danger of going down. This should be straightforward for the Lions.

Nick: 1-0

Conor: 3-0

Sheff Wed 0-3 Ipswich @ 13/2

Congratulations to Sheffield Wednesday, who picked up their first point of 2026 in midweek at home to Watford. It could and possibly should have been three as well as they conceded late on after a goalkeeping error. Ipswich come to town on Saturday and the visitors should have no issue taking all three points, despite a couple of slip-ups of their own recently.

Nick: 0-4

Conor: 0-2

Norwich 3-0 Preston @ 11/1

Preston look really poor at the moment. They lost 3-0 to Coventry on Wednesday, and now have just two points from their last six outings. Meanwhile Norwich are trundling along nicely and made it three wins in a row with victory over Sheffield United. Home win.

Nick: 3-1

Conor: 3-0

Stoke 0-0 Watford @ 7/1

Two poor teams at the moment meet in the Potteries, and so I’m sitting on the fence. With nothing to play, I’m plumping for a boring 0-0 between Stoke and Watford.

Nick: 2-1

Conor: 1-1

West Brom 0-1 Hull @ 17/2

Hull are a very good side, and a very good side away from home to boot. The win over Wrexham has put them in a great spot to secure a top-six finish and I think they can follow it up at West Brom. WBA let all three points slip through their fingers as they conceded late vs Southampton in midweek - and it’s not looking good for the Baggies.

Nick: 1-2

Conor: 1-2

Birmingham 1-1 Sheff Utd @ 6/1

Two teams that targeted promotion at the start of the season but have fallen short of those ambitions meet in Birmingham on Saturday. It will be interesting to see just how competitive this game is - but again I’ll sit on the fence.

Nick: 2-2

Conor: 1-1

Portsmouth 1-1 Derby @ 11/2

Pompey lost at home to Swansea in midweek and could do with a few more points to move away from danger. Their home form is going to be crucial, while Derby still harbour ambitions of a play-off spot but have lost their last three away games. I can’t separate these two.

Nick: 1-2

Conor: 2-1
