England’s wonderful second tier returns this weekend, before pausing for the final international break of the year.

Leicester City currently lead the way in the Championship and they will hold onto that lead after Rotherham held Ipswich to a 2-2 draw in midweek. Below, we have put together a weekend accumulator for you to consider.

Championship Accumulator Tips:

  • Ipswich to beat Swansea @ 4/7
  • Cardiff to beat Norwich @ 11/10
  • Hull to beat Huddersfield @ 7/10
  • Leeds to beat Plymouth @ 1/4

Fourfold pays 7/1

Ipswich to beat Swansea @ 4/7

Despite dropping points in midweek, after a last-minute Rotherham equaliser, I’m resolute in my belief that Ipswich are one of the finest sides in the division. Kieran McKenna’s men boast the finest home record in the league, having won six of seven matches at home, and scored a whopping 22 goals in the process.

Swansea are a reasonable Championship outfit, and have kept two clean sheets on the bounce, but they are going to find life tough at Portman Road. Home win.

Cardiff to beat Norwich @ 11/10

Norwich City are a mess at this moment in time. David Wagner is on the brink of losing his job after Carrow Road witnessed a 3-1 defeat to Blackburn Rovers last weekend. With every Rovers goal, boos sounded out from the crowd, and you can understand why.

Norwich have now lost their last four games on the bounce, and failed to win in their last six. Five of those have been defeats and now they travel to Cardiff, a team in form. The Bluebirds are on the brink of the play-offs, and they aren’t conceding goals, which is why we’ve picked them to beat Norwich this weekend. This could be the final nail in the coffin for the Norwich manager.

Hull to beat Huddersfield @ 7/10

Ninth-placed Hull City lost to West Brom in their last fixture but they return home to face a Huddersfield outfit looking to put some space between themselves and the bottom three. Currently on 15 points, Darren Moore’s men are in a relegation battle this term, and they have struggled on the road.

They’ve won just one of seven away matches, losing 4-1 to both Birmingham City and Leeds United in recent weeks. Hull have a superior squad on paper and should be able to make that count here.

Leeds to beat Plymouth @ 1/4

A short price, but one to add to your acca to boost the odds. Leeds United showed their title credentials on Friday night as they beat Leicester 1-0 away from home. It was a phenomenal display from Daniel Farke’s men, and now they look ready to take the Championship by storm.

They return to Elland Road to play Plymouth, a team with one of the worst away records in the league. They are one of only three teams yet to win on the road this term, having drawn three and lost four of their seven matches so far. Leeds meanwhile are unbeaten at home and should get another three points in front of their own fans here.
