Team News

Neither Ondrej Zmrzly nor Lukas Vorlicky, who provided an assist and bagged a brace, respectively, in last Saturday's 3-1 victory over Karvina, have been named in Slavia's Champions League squad, so both will miss out on Wednesday.

Dominik Javorcek (knee) and Emmanuel Fully (unspecified) will be absent due to injury.

Last season's leading goalscorer, Tomas Chory, should return up top after missing Slavia's last five games through suspension.

Football Odds

Brede Moe (back), Isak Maatta (shoulder), Ole Blomberg (thigh) and Kasper Hogh (unspecified) are sidelined for Glimt, who didn't name defender Haitam Aleesami in their squad for the league phase.

Fredrik Bjorkan and Ulrik Saltnes (both illness) are doubtful.

Slavia Prague vs Bodo/Glimt Predicted Lineups

Slavia are 4/5 to claim all three points on Wednesday, implying a 55.6% probability of success, while Glimt are 16/5, or a 23.8% chance, to return to Norway with a win; the draw is also priced at 16/5.

Slavia Prague vs Bodo/Glimt Stats

Price Boosts - Slavia Prague to Win, Both Teams to Score & Tomas Chory (SLP) to Score @ 7/2 9/2

Chory hasn't played for Slavia since he was sent off in his side's 1-0 win at Slovacko on August 3, but he shouldn't be too rusty on Wednesday, as he featured twice for the Czech Republic earlier this month. The 30-year-old came on against Montenegro for the final 20 minutes of his country's 2-0 win in Podgorica on September 5, and three days later, he scored the only goal of the game in a 1-1 friendly draw with Saudi Arabia in Hradec Kralove.

The Slavia striker, who transferred from Czech First League rivals Viktoria Plzen at the start of last sesaon, struck 17 times in 37 appearances during his maiden campaign in 2024/25. Six of his goals came in Europe - two in four Champions League qualifiers, and four in seven UEL league phase outings.

Chory got off the mark in his side's first game this season, a 2-2 draw with Hradec Kralove on July 20, finding the net within four minutes of his introduction from the bench. A yellow card followed in the 2-0 win at Bohemians six days later, before the red mist descended in Slavia's third match against Slovacko. He'll be eager to make up for lost time, so I fancy the home team's main man to get on the scoresheet in midweek.

Glimt will fancy their chances of getting on the scoresheet, though, as Slavia have conceded in their last four games, and kept just a single clean sheet, which came away from Prague, in eight UEL league phase matches last season. They also conceded in both 2024/25 home Champions League qualifiers.

Wednesday's visitors, meanwhile, scored in five of their six Champions League qualifiers last season, and in 14 of their 16 Europa League games, only failing to find the net in a goalless draw at Union SG and a 2-0 home defeat to eventual champions Tottenham Hotspur. They struck in both legs of their Champions League play-off tie with Sturm Graz last month, too, and have scored in all 21 league games this year.

Slavia struggled in the UEL league phase last season, picking up just five points from eight games, only two of which were claimed on home soil. However, they're unbeaten in Prague this season, winning three of their last four matches at Fortuna Arena, and on Wednesday, host a side that struggled on their European travels in 2024/25.

Glimt took four points from their first two UEL away games, but lost five and drew one of their final six away from Norway. They also lost to Sturm Graz in Austria last month, although they had won the first leg 5-0 in Bodo.

Still, Slavia are expected to have the upper hand in this contest, making the above price boost a tempting option at 9/2.

Player to Receive a Card - Christos Zafeiris (SLP) @ 11/4

Slavia midfielder Christos Zafeiris averaged 1.1 and 2.1 fouls per game, respectively, in last season's Czech First League and Europa League. He was shown four yellows in 30 domestic league appearances, and three in eight second-tier European outings.

The 22-year-old has already been scribbled in a referee's notebook this term, picking up a caution in the July win at Bohemians, and is averaging 1.7 fouls per game in the Czech First League.

On Wednesday, Zafeiris could be in close proximity to Glimt's Sondre Auklend, who is averaging 1.3 fouls won per game in this year's Eliteserien, despite just six of his 14 appearances coming as a starter. The 22-year-old won a couple of free-kicks in last Friday's 7-1 thrashing of Kristiansund, and could cause his midfield markers some concern in Prague.

Greece international Zafeiris looks like the best bet for a card in midweek at 11/4.
