Liverpool vs PSG Prediction: Another magical European night at Anfield?

Liverpool must overcome a 2-0 deficit on Tuesday night at Anfield (20:00 BST, live on Prime Video) against Paris Saint-Germain if they wish to book their place in the Uefa Champions League semi-finals.
The European champions will be perhaps kicking themselves that they don't bring a heavier advantage to Merseyside, and the Reds will be hoping that Saturday's 2-0 win over Fulham can act as a springboard for an epic comeback here. Read on for my Liverpool vs PSG predictions, as well as the latest team news and match odds.

Team News
Curtis Jones was withdrawn at half-time on Saturday with a groin issue, so the midfielder will miss out here, joining Alisson Becker, Wataru Endo, Giovanni Leoni and Conor Bradley on the Reds' treatment table.
That apart, Arne Slot should have a fully fit squad to choose from.
As for PSG, they arrive at Anfield fresh after their game against Lens at the weekend was postponed, and they also came out of the first-leg victory unscathed injury-wise.
The holders could even welcome Bradley Barcola back to the squad if fully recovered from his ankle problem, as the first leg came too soon for the Frenchman.
Liverpool vs PSG Predicted Lineups
- Liverpool: Mamardashvili; Szoboszlai, Konate, Van Dijk, Kerkez; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Salah, Wirtz, Ngumoha; Ekitike
- PSG: Safonov; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes; Neves, Vitinha, Zaire-Emery; Doue, Dembele, Kvaratskhelia
There isn't much to split the teams inside 90 minutes, with a Liverpool win priced up at 11/8, a PSG win at 8/5 - an implied win probability of 38.5% - and the draw at 16/5.
PSG are huge favourites to win the tie at 1/7, as opposed to 4/1 for the Reds - while Hugo Ekitike is currently favourite to score anytime at 23/20.
Liverpool vs PSG Stats
- Liverpool's 2-0 victory over Fulham snapped a three-game losing streak
- PSG have won five straight matches, scoring 17 and conceding just three
Match Result (90 mins) - Liverpool @ 11/8
It goes without saying that anything can happen on a Champions League night at Anfield.
As mentioned in the introduction, PSG's domination in the first leg should have accounted for more than two goals, especially since Liverpool couldn't muster a shot on target, but a two-goal deficit isn't the biggest mountain to climb and leaves the door slightly open for the Reds (see file marked 'Barcelona, 2019').
So, I'm going to back Slot's side to win inside 90 minutes - whether it'll be enough to win the tie, I'm not sure. Despite their poor form, I think Liverpool can still beat anyone on their day at Anfield, especially on a European night where the place will no doubt be rocking.
As I say, PSG may have enough in their locker to manage the game and prevail into the next round, but I think 11/8 for a Liverpool win inside 90 minutes is a tempting offer.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to score anytime @ 9/5
The former Napoli man netted in the first-leg triumph, and he looked a real handful for Liverpool's backline.
The 25-year-old has eight goals and four assists in 12 Champions League appearances this term - including five in his last four - and he looks well priced to score anytime once again on Tuesday night.
