Borussia Dortmund vs Bodo/Glimt Prediction: Hosts are four-midable

Borussia Dortmund will be hoping to secure their fourth Uefa Champions League victory of the season on Wednesday (20:00 GMT, TNT Sports 7) when they welcome Bodo/Glimt to Signal Iduna Park.
The Norwegian visitors have struggled with the step up to this level so far with just two points from their first five matches. My Borussia Dortmund vs Bodo/Glimt predictions can be found below, alongside team news and the latest match odds.

Team News
Dortmund defender Niklas Sule remains unavailable due to a toe injury. Boss Niko Kovac has everyone else available for this contest.
A regular topic that has been discussed this season is the absence of exciting teenager Julien Duranville, who has not made an appearance for the Black and Yellows this season.
On the matter, Kovac said that other players in the team are simply better. Whether he meant in terms of ability or attitude to training remains to be seen, but for now the 19-year-old remains frozen out.
Felix Nmecha and Serhou Guirassy both have three goals in Europe this season. The former will be hoping to start but a place in the side is assured for the latter.
Bodo/Glimt make the trip to Dortmund without Jostein Gunderson, who is suspended following the red card he picked up against Monaco over a month ago.
Patrick Berg and Sondre Auklend are walking a tightrope heading into Wednesday's clash as the pair are one yellow card away from a one match ban.
Ola Brynhildsen (unspecified) and Haitam Aleesami (hamstring) are both doubts due to injury.
Borussia Dortmund vs Bodo/Glimt Predicted Lineups
- Borussia Dortmund: Kobel; Anselmino, Can, Bensebaini; Couto, Sabitzer, Bellingham, Beier; Brandt, Silva; Guirassy
- Bodo/Glimt: Haikin; Sjovold, Bjortuft, Aleesami, Bjorkan; Berg; Evjen, Brunstad Fet; Blomberg, Helmersen, Hauge
Borussia Dortmund vs Bodo/Glimt Odds
Dortmund have won both of their home appearances in Europe this season and they are 1/4 to take the victory. BTTS - Yes has landed in four of their five outings in the UCL this term, so combining the two markets presents a 13/10 (implied probability of 43.5%) price.
BTTS - Yes on its own is valued at 4/6.
Bodo/Glimt have drawn two of their five appearances in the league phase and the stalemate is on offer at 11/2. The visitors are 10/1 to come away with the three points but Dortmund have lost just one of their nine home matches this season.
Borussia Dortmund vs Bodo/Glimt Stats
- Dortmund have scored four goals in four of their five UCL matches
- Serhou Guirassy has nine goals in as many home games in the UCL for Dortmund
Home Team Total Goals - Over 3.5 @ 2/1
Dortmund have very much enjoyed their matches in Europe so far in 2025/26 because it tends to be when we see them at their attacking best. In all but one of their fixtures to date (the defeat against Manchester City), the Black and Yellows have found the back of the net four times.
They hit four against Juventus in the crazy 4-4 encounter on matchday one, as well as scoring the same number at Copenhagen and most recently at home to Villarreal.
Kovac's attacking stars are truly strutting their stuff in the Champions League and three wins in their last four have lifted them up to sixth in the standings. There is still work to be done in the final three matches but the German outfit are in a strong position.
I'm confident that they go out and win this game against Bodo/Glimt because the visitors are seeing the difference between this level and the Uefa Europa League, which they are more familiar with.
The Norwegian side head here off the back of three consecutive defeats in this competition, and they are up against the team who have scored the second-highest number of goals (17) so far.
Dortmund have a trend of netting four goals so it seems sensible to back it to continue here, especially at 2/1.

Anytime Goalscorer - Serhou Guirassy @ 8/15
Guirassy is a player who can play a big helping hand with our first selection. He has three goals in the UCL already and two of them came last time out against Villarreal. The 29-year-old could have left with a hat-trick but he missed a penalty.
The striker has an impressive home record in this competition for Dortmund, with nine goals in as many games. He's waiting to really take off in Europe this year and also in the Bundesliga with five goals to his name so far, but this is the kind of game that can help spark him into life.
The brace in the previous matchday should have helped his confidence but it hasn't had an impact domestically. But seeing as we know what he is capable of, I think he's worth backing to strike here against a team that looks consigned to their fate.
