Atletico Madrid vs Club Brugge Prediction: Lookman to strike for the third-straight game

I think I can safely say we are all strapped in to see what the second leg of the Uefa Champions League play-off between Atletico Madrid and Club Brugge provides as they face one another at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano on Tuesday (17:45 GMT, TNT Sports 3).
They played out a pulsating 3-3 draw in Belgium last week, raising the stakes for tonight's fixture in Madrid. Below you will find my Atletico Madrid vs Club Brugge predictions, alongside the latest match odds and team news.

Team News
Atleti duo Nico Gonzalez and Pablo Barrios are expected to miss out here owing to muscle injuries. Ademola Lookman has had a bright start to life with the Rojiblancos and is likely to feature again in attack.
Antoine Griezmann could drop down to the bench in favour of Alexander Sorloth, who bagged a brace here on Saturday against Espanyol in La Liga.
Lynnt Audoor is unlikely to feature for Club Brugge due to a muscle issue, while Dani van den Heuvel is doubtful because of a knock.
Raphael Onyedika was on the scoresheet in the first leg but he will miss the decider in Madrid due to suspension for the yellow card he picked up last week.
Christos Soliz bagged the equaliser in Bruges and he will be hoping to have another big impact in the final third on Tuesday.
Atletico Madrid vs Club Brugge Predicted Lineups
- Atletico Madrid: Oblak; Molina, Pubill, Hancko, Ruggeri; Simeone, Koke, Llorente, Lookman; Sorloth, Alvarez
- Club Brugge: Mignolet; Seys, Mechele, Ordonez, Sabbe; Vanaken, Vetlesen, Stankovic; Diakhon, Tresoldi, Tzolis
Atletico Madrid vs Club Brugge Odds
Atletico have suffered just two defeats on home turf all season in all competitions and they are perceived as the 4/11 favourites to triumph here inside regulation time.
The two sides couldn't be separated in the first leg and the draw is priced on this occasion at 9/2. Brugge are 13/2 if you fancy an upset in the Spanish capital.
If you also think another goal-fest is on the cards, over 4.5 goals is available at 5/2.
Atletico Madrid vs Club Brugge Stats
- Atletico have won their last 2 competitive home games
- They scored 4 goals in each of those matches
- BTTS - Yes has landed in Brugge's past 3 fixtures
- Ademola Lookman has 4 goals in 6 games for Atletico
Match Result & Both Teams To Score - Atletico Madrid & Yes @ 6/4
After what we witnessed last week, this second leg has a lot to live up to. Atleti will have seen the quality Brugge have to offer and perhaps there may be some nerves on show in Madrid as they will be expected to make the most of the home advantage.
I wouldn't be too worried if I were an Atleti supporter as they have only been beaten at the Metropolitano twice across all competitions this term. They also head into this fixture having won their previous two home appearances in all competitions, one of which was a 4-0 thrashing of Barcelona in the Copa del Rey.
Diego Simeone and his players will look to channel that performance into this second leg and with the quality within their ranks, the hosts should have more than enough to progress to the round of 16.
The visitors will likely have a big say in this match, though. You don't score three goals against Simeone's side unless you are an effective team in the final third. With BTTS - Yes striking in Brugge's past three matches, I am confident we will see both teams find the net here.

Anytime Goalscorer - Ademola Lookman @ 5/4
Lookman is already looking to have been a shrewd bit of business for Atleti in the winter transfer window. The former Atalanta man has hit the ground running in red and white, having bagged four goals in six appearances in all competitions for his new club.
After scoring in the first leg in Belgium, he followed up with a goal in the weekend victory over Espanyol, so the winger should be brimming with confidence heading into Tuesday. The Nigerian is someone who can make things happen and I think 5/4 (implied probability of 44.4%) is an excellent price for him to find the net given his current form.
