Celta Vigo welcome Valencia to Balaidos on Sunday (15:15) for their final La Liga fixture of the season. With survival secured, the hosts can enjoy the final game of the season as they look towards progression over the summer.

They have won their last two matches in a row, while Valencia have lost five of their last six heading into this clash. Read on for my Celta Vigo vs Valencia prediction, including match odds and team news.

Celta Vigo vs Valencia Betting Tips

  • #PickYourPunt - Jorgen Strand Larsen and Iago Aspas to score anytime @ 9/2
  • Celta Vigo and both teams to score @ 3/1

Celta Vigo vs Valencia Odds

Celta Vigo are 10/11 to win this match, giving them an implied probability of 52.4%. Valencia are 5/2 to win this one, which gives them a 28.6% chance. The draw can be backed at 12/5 (29.4%).

Both teams to score is on offer at 8/11 and over 2.5 goals is 10/11.

Team News

The hosts are definitely without Joseph Aidoo, who will be sidelined until at least October. Carlos Perez, Franco Cervi and Mihailo Ristis are also set to miss out on the last game of the season due to respective knocks.

Valencia are missing players of their own in Jesus Vazques, Mouctar Diakhaby, Jose Gaya and Jaume Domenach, who are all likely to sit out of Sunday's clash so that they can recover swiftly over the summer.

#PickYourPunt - Jorgen Strand Larsen and Iago Aspas to score anytime @ 9/2

Despite having worried about their top-flight status for much of the campaign, Celta Vigo have got themselves over the line with back-to-back wins against Athletic Club and relegated Granada.

They will look to round off the season with a third win on the bounce, to send their fans off into the summer happy. I've decided to get a bit creative with this tip by using Betfred's #PickYourPunt feature.

I have gone for two Celta players to get on the scoresheet in Jorgen Strand Larsen and Iago Aspas. The former has netted 13 goals in La Liga this term, including last time out against Granada.

Veteran attacker Aspas has eight for the season and he has gone three games without scoring. But now that his team have got the job done, they can play this match with freedom. And seeing as Valencia have lost four of their last five, I fancy these two attacking stars to profit.

#PickYourPunt at 9/2 Celta Vigo and both teams to score @ 3/1

I like the look of this market because I'm confident that Celta will emerge victorious here. They have won two on the spin and have the home advantage. However, they have only managed six clean sheets from their 37 clashes this season, and despite Valencia only scoring 38 goals this term, I can see them getting on the scoresheet here.

They may have failed to win in their last six, losing five, but they have scored in three of them. Celta have conceded 55 goals so far, and their defensive troubles were the reason why they struggled for much of the season. That is why I can see BTTS landing here, but I'm confident that Celta Vigo will take the three points.
