BTTS tips: 8/1 shot for Wednesday’s games

There is domestic and international action to look forward to on Wednesday and our both teams are to score accumulator features games from the Asian Cup, Premier League and the Championship.

With BTTS backed in the games in Doha, Tottenham, Liverpool and Sheffield, we have created a four-fold acca that could turn odds of 8.3/1.

Bahrain vs Japan - Yes @ 11/8  

First up, to the Asian Cup, where Bahrain and Japan clash in the last 16 at the Al-Thumama Stadium in Doha.

Bahrain lost their opener against South Korea 3-1 but tightened up to record wins to nil over Malaysia and Jordan and are unlucky to have received such a tough draw on the back of topping Group E.

Their improved defence will be tested against a decent, if not vintage Samurai Blue side who lost 2-1 to Iraq, either side of victories against both Vietnam and Indonesia.

Hajime Moriyasu's side should progress to face either Iran or Syria in the last eight but are less than trustworthy at the back and Bahrain are capable of testing them.

Tottenham vs Brentford - Yes @ 8/15

Friday's 1-0 FA Cup defeat to Manchester City was the fifth game out of six that Tottenham have conceded and, despite Micky van de Ven's return to central defence, Ange Postecoglou's insistence on a high line can leave Spurs vulnerable.

Visitors Brentford won their most recent game at home to Nottingham Forest 3-2 and both teams have scored in eight of their last nine outings.

With Ivan Toney back in the fold, the Bees carry a renewed threat and this clash could prove similar to the pair's 2-2 draw in August's reverse fixture.

Liverpool vs Chelsea - Yes @ 8/15

It could also be fun at Anfield, where Liverpool host Chelsea. The Blues had 10 efforts, four of those on target in Friday's 0-0 FA Cup home draw against Aston Villa, a result that ended a run of nine straight home games in which they have found the net.

Liverpool began their long goodbye to departing boss Jurgen Klopp with an entertaining 5-2 win over Norwich and Anfield has been the place for goals this season, with BTTS bets landing in the Reds' last five home games.

The last seven meetings between these sides have finished as draws and with August's reverse game finishing 1-1, more of the same could be on the agenda.

Sheffield Wednesday vs Watford - Yes @ 4/6 

Finally, and both Sheffield Wednesday and Watford need the points and could play out an open encounter in Wednesday's sole Championship game.

The Owls' last three Championship games have all featured over 2.5 goals and both teams have scored in their last six at home in the league.

Meanwhile, the Hornets have seen both teams score in their last 13 games in all competitions and more of the same looks likely at Hillsborough.
