Tuesday night brings us a whole host of action, with the Carabao Cup, League One and League Two all offering up some fixtures. To whet your appetite for the midweek games, we’ve put together a BTTS acca for you to consider.

BTTS Tips:

  • Lincoln City vs Oxford United @ 4/5
  • Wigan vs Charlton Athletic @ 8/15
  • Colchester United vs Swindon Town @ 4/9

Treble pays 4/1

Lincoln City vs Oxford United @ 4/5

Lincoln are now up to 8th in League One and have picked up four points in their last two games. In those two matches, both teams have also scored as they beat Charlton 3-1 and followed that up with a 1-1 draw at Exeter. They’ve not been the most free-flowing side so far this season, but in the last week have shown some serious attacking intent.

Oxford meanwhile have tailed off slightly and haven’t won any of their last three outings. However, both teams have scored in three of their last four matches and they are conceding goals on a regular basis at the moment. As things stand, this looks like a good pick for BTTS.

Wigan vs Charlton Athletic @ 8/15

Wigan have found some form in recent weeks, winning their last three consecutive matches 2-0. It’s a run that has seen them climb to 19th and now they can look up the table, rather than over their shoulders at the relegation zone. That run of clean sheets may cause concern for those putting them into this BTTS acca, but they can certainly find the net against Charlton.

Talking of the Addicks, they are an unpredictable side at the moment, but one full of attacking quality. With the likes of Alfie May and Panutche Camará, they possess two excellent forward thinking players, and although they failed to score against Bolton last time out, BTTS have scored in four of their last six matches. I back them to score at Wigan.

Colchester United vs Swindon Town @ 4/9

Both teams have scored in three of the last four Colchester matches and they’ve been one of the most interesting teams in League Two, conceding 29 and scoring 22 goals. Ben Garner’s team are certainly exciting, while Swindon have scored a whopping 33 goals so far this term.

That’s a total only beaten by Crewe Alex, while they’ve also conceded 24 times. Their last outing, a 3-2 loss at MK Dons, summed up their season so far. This match should see plenty of goals.
