BTTS Tips: 15/1 acca for Tuesday’s action
There is plenty of football on Tuesday evening, with a slate of international qualifiers and friendlies, as well as League one and EFL Trophy action. We've picked out five of our favourite games for Both Teams to Score and given you our justification for doing so.
BTTS Tips 21st November
- Wales vs Turkey - 4/6
- Kosovo vs Belarus - EVS
- Romania vs Switzerland - 8/11
- Austria vs Germany - 1/2
- Leyton Orient vs Lincoln City - 10/11
BTTS Accumulator pays 15.48/1
Wales vs Turkey - 4/6
We start our journey at the Cardiff City Stadium, as Wales play their final Euro 2024 Group D qualifier, against table-toppers and already qualified Turkey.
Robert Page's men have to win here and then hope 2nd-placed Croatia slip up at home against Armenia. It's possible but it looks unlikely!
In terms of our bet it means Wales will have no chance but to go hard at it against a very good team. The two sides have played each other just twice in recent years with each side picking up a 2-0 victory.
However, goals should be on the cards here, with Wales on the front foot and they have seen BTTS land in each of their last two games, against Croatia and Armenia.
Turkey, meanwhile, are on fire, winning their last three including a brilliant 3-2 win away at Germany on Saturday night.
Kosovo vs Belarus - EVS
On to Group I and whilst this may be a dead rubber in terms of qualification, I still think we will likely see some goals.
Belarus won the opposing fixture 2-1 in Budapest and Kosovo will be desperate for revenge here in Pristina on Tuesday night.
The two countries have a chequered history and this match will be played at a furious pace, with cards on the agenda.
The Kosovans are on a good run of form, beating Andorra and Israel before a solid draw away to Switzerland last time out.
Belarus also drew 3-3 against the Swiss and turned over Andorra and will feel like they can get something out of this game.
Romania vs Switzerland - 8/11
Still in Group I and the top two square off to see who will finish top of the pile and gain a top seeding spot for the Euro 2024 draw.
With both sides already qualified, this should be an entertaining, open game and goals should again be on the menu. Both sides are unbeaten in qualifying and have scored a whopping 37 goals between them.
The corresponding fixture in June saw the sides play out an entertaining 2-2 draw and I think we will see something similar on the cards in Bucharest.
Switzerland have seen BTTS land in six of their last seven fixtures and it looks highly likely again here.
Austria vs Germany - 1/2
One of the international friendlies taking place on Tuesday looks an absolute cracker. Old friends and foes Austria and Germany face off for the first time since 2018, a match the Austrians won 2-1.
Germany qualify for the tournament as hosts of course and Austria have already sealed qualification from Group F, in second place behind Belgium.
There have been 20 goals scored between these two countries in the last five fixtures they have played one another and I think that trend could continue in Vienna.
Julian Nagelsmann has overseen an entertaining start to his life as Germany boss, with a 3-1 win over the USA and a 2-2 draw against Mexico. In his first home game though, the wheels fell off a little, as Turkey beat them 3-2.
As you can see Germany are porous at the back and Austria are in very good form, which makes for a great BTTS bet for us punters.
Leyton Orient vs Lincoln City - 10/11
We move away from the international scene for our last selection and into the ultra-competitive League One scene.
Brisbane Road is the host venue for Leyton Orient against Lincoln City, in a match up of the sides sat in 14th and 10th in the division.
The last three meetings between the sides all ended 1-1 and I can certainly see something similar taking place on Tuesday evening. BTTS has hit in four of Orient's last five games and three of Lincolns.
