BTTS Tips: 34/1 shot for Saturday games to deliver goals

We’ve got a whole heap of Premier League and Championship action to look forward to on Saturday, and given it’s the final day of the season in the second tier, we should see plenty of goals. It means we can put together a pretty spectacular BTTS accumulator, as clubs throw everything forward in these crucial encounters. Below you can find my BTTS Tips for Saturday, May 4.

Arsenal vs Bournemouth @ 5/6

The early kick-off from the Premier League comes from the capital as title-chasing Arsenal host Bournemouth. The Gunners have to win to keep the pressure on Man City, but we should see some goals at both ends. Bournemouth have great attacking quality, and their record over the last 25 games would see them fifth in the league. Arsenal may be in for a tough time against the resurgent Cherries, and hotshot Dominic Solanke.

Burnley vs Newcastle @ 4/9

Six of the last seven Burnley games have ended BTTS and with survival hopes still alive, they will target three points against Newcastle. However, the Magpies have one of the finest strikers in the division in Alexander Isak and have scored 20 goals in their last eight league matches. They should score against a leaky Burnley backline.

Coventry vs QPR @ 8/13

Haji Wright and Ellis Simms are dangerous strikers in the Championship and Coventry have seen both teams find the net in nine of their last 11 fixtures in all competitions. Their defence is all over the show, and given QPR scored four against Leeds last time out, this one should feature goals.

Plymouth vs Hull @ 8/13

Both teams need the points, and Hull need the win if they are to stand any chance of breaking into the top six. With their attacking quality, they should find the net and their last two matches have ended 3-3 and 3-2 proving they are not secure defensively either. Plymouth are under a lot of pressure, but will throw everything forward if they are behind - especially if the Birmingham result is going against them. This should be a thriller, and it’s a shame it hasn’t been chosen to be shown live on Sky Sports.

Stoke vs Bristol City @ 8/11

Two sides with nothing to play for, which could be a good thing as we search for goals. Stoke have secured back-to-back wins, including a 3-0 home success over Plymouth while the Robins are unbeaten in their last seven. With Tommy Conway, Nahki Wells and Tyrese Campbell on show, both teams can find the net.

Oxford vs Peterborough @ 2/5

The first leg of this League 1 play-off semi-final sees two of the finest third-tier attacks meet at the Kassam Stadium. Posh were the top scorers in the league with 86 goals, while Oxford outscored both of the top two, Portsmouth and Derby County, by one goal. They also have the fourth and fifth-highest BTTS percentages in League 1 this season, and should produce goals on Saturday evening.

Girona vs Barcelona @ 2/5

Over to Spain now where Girona host Barcelona. Girona are a good side at home this term, and have scored 12 goals in their last four matches at Estadi Montilivi. I think they will be able to find the net against Barcelona, who confirmed Xavi would stay on for next season last month. Their last three results have been 4-1, 3-2 and 4-2 - so I’m expecting plenty of goals in this one.

Cove Rangers vs Edinburgh FC @ 1/2

Down to Scottish League 1. Both teams have scored in five of the last six Cove Rangers games while it is five of the last seven for Edinburgh FC. This division sees a lot of goals scored, so I’m happy to round off our accumulator with this selection.
