The first weekend of March sees the continuation of the FA Cup fifth round, while there are also games taking place across the EFL as well as around Europe. It’s been a while since I last provided some accumulator tips, so I think it’s only right that I make some both teams to score selections for Saturday.

I’ve gone for four picks this weekend in a bid to make a triumph more attainable, and I have picked out games from the FA Cup, League 1 and the Bundesliga, which pay out at 13/1. You will find my BTTS Tips below.

BTTS Tips - Saturday, March 1

  • BTTS No in Crystal Palace vs Millwall @ 8/15
  • BTTS Yes in AFC Bournemouth vs Wolverhampton Wanderers @ 8/13
  • BTTS Yes in Birmingham City vs Wycombe Wanderers @ 1/1
  • BTTS Yes in Heidenheim vs Borussia Monchengladbach @ 8/15

BTTS No in Crystal Palace vs Millwall @ 8/15

The early kick-off in the FA Cup sees Premier League Crystal Palace take on Championship side Millwall at Selhurst Park. The two teams last met in this competition in January 2022, which the Eagles won 2-1 thanks to goals from Michael Olise, now of Bayern Munich, and Jean Philippe-Mateta.

Mateta has since evolved into a goalscoring machine for Palace, and he could very much play a starring role in this fixture again.

The hosts have had a habit of keeping clean sheets with their victories of late, so I think backing BTTS No could be a sensible selection here.

Both their wins in the FA Cup this term were won to nil against Stockport County and Doncaster Rovers, while four of their last five triumphs in the Premier League saw them record a shutout.

BTTS Yes in AFC Bournemouth vs Wolverhampton Wanderers @ 8/13

In a repeat of last weekend’s Premier League clash, AFC Bournemouth welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to the Vitality Stadium on Saturday. Wolves prevailed in that contest 1-0, with Ilia Zabarnyi getting sent off for the Cherries inside the first half.

Unlike that occasion, I fancy BTTS to strike on the south coast because Bournemouth will be eager to put on a better attacking display against the Old Gold, while the visitors will be facing a Bournemouth team without one of their most important defenders.

BTTS Yes in Birmingham City vs Wycombe Wanderers @ 1/1

Moving to League 1 now, where a gargantuan takes place at lunchtime. League leaders Birmingham City host second-placed Wycombe Wanderers at St Andrew's with nine points separating the two teams currently. The Blues can move 12 points clear at the summit with a win and they will still have a game in hand on the Chairboys.

Birmingham have recently recorded their 20th clean sheet in all competitions and their current unbeaten run of 17 games in the third tier has seen them concede just four goals. However, I think we will Wycombe on the scoresheet in this top-of-the-table clash.

BTTS has been a successful bet in seven of Wycombe's past eight away matches in the league, and both teams were on the scoresheet in the reverse fixture at Adams Park back in August, which the Blues won 3-2.

BTTS Yes in Heidenheim vs Borussia Monchengladbach @ 8/15

Ending the day's acca in Europe, Heidenheim lock horns with Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga, and BTTS has been a running theme of late for the visiting team.

Five of Gladbach's last seven appearances in the league have produced goals at both ends, including each of their previous three ahead of Saturday's trip to Heidenheim. Additonally, Die Fohlen have failed to keep a clean sheet in each of their past four appearances in the top flight.

The hosts have seen this market strike in five of their seven latest matches across all competitions, two of which have come on home turf.
