BTTS Yes in AFC Bournemouth vs Liverpool @ 1/2
Liverpool may hold a six-point lead in the Premier League title race with a game in hand on Arsenal, but they must be slightly worried about facing AFC Bournemouth in Dorset on Saturday, as the Cherries have just posted 4-1 and 5-0 thrashings over Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest respectively.
BTTS has been a winning selection in three of the hosts' last five appearances in the top flight, while there have been goals at both ends in seven of Liverpool's previous nine outings in the league.
Both sets of attackers are in great form right now, particularly Bournemouth's Justin Kluivert, who has netted five goals in his latest three appearances in the Premier League. This game could have a big say in the title race and the battle for the top six, so goals are to be expected.
BTTS Yes in Newcastle United vs Fulham @ 8/13
Newcastle United had a run of four league matches in December that saw them win without conceding, but that defensive structure appears to have faded recently with BTTS striking in three of their previous four contests in the top flight, including each of their latest two against Bournemouth and Southampton.
They host Fulham at St James' Park on Saturday, and the Cottagers have been involved in their fair share of BTTS clashes this term. This has been a successful bet in six of their last eight away trips in the Premier League, and they are coming up against Newcastle striker Alexander Isak, who is the most in-form forward in the division right now.
BTTS Yes in Nottingham Forest vs Brighton & Hove Albion @ 4/6
Premier League high-flyers Nottingham Forest have been very strong defensively this campaign, but that security has faltered in recent weeks. BTTS has landed in their last two league appearances at the City Ground ahead of their home clash with Brighton & Hove Albion at the weekend.
For the Seagulls, there have been goals at both ends in each of their past eight away fixtures in the top flight. This was also a winning selection when the two teams met in the reverse fixture back in September, which finished 2-2.
Forest have looked vulnerable in their past two games, while Brighton have been easy to score against on the road.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
BTTS No in Leeds United vs Cardiff City @ 8/13
Dropping down a division now where Championship leaders Leeds United host Cardiff City at Elland Road. The Whites have the strongest home form in the second tier with 12 wins from 15 fixtures.
In 10 of those wins, Leeds haven't conceded a goal, which amounts to 67 per cent of their home games. This has been most the most impressive aspect of their strength at Elland Road and their past two appearances here have seen them come out on top whilst shutting out their opponents.
Cardiff have impressed in recent weeks but it is going to be a tough ask for them to score in Leeds, let alone get a result.
BTTS No in Birmingham City vs Rotherham United @ 8/11
League 1 leaders Birmingham City secured a monumental victory at rivals Huddersfield Town on Tuesday to give themselves some more breathing space inside the automatic promotion places.
The Blues are eight points clear of Wrexham in third with two games in hand. They are starting to pull away in the third tier now and next up for them is Rotherham United at St Andrew's @ Knighthead Park.
The hosts won the reverse fixture back in September 2-0, in what was their first clean sheet in the league. They have since recorded a further 11 shutouts, 10 of which have seen them win to nil.
Birmingham have conceded just six goals on home turf and have gone almost three months without conceding in B9 (five league games) - the last time coming against Northampton Town on November 9. They are currently on a run of nine clean sheets in their last 12 outings in the third tier (home and away).
