Bristol City vs West Brom Prediction: Stalemate in store at Ashton Gate

Championship play-off hopefuls Bristol City and West Bromwich Albion are set for a pivotal showdown at Ashton Gate on Tuesday evening (19:45, Sky Sports+).

The Robins have surged into the top six with just six games of the season remaining, while West Brom's recent lack of wins means they have dropped to eighth.

The hosts are without full-back George Tanner and Luke McNally, both are set to miss what is left of the season, while Albion are missing the services of Jed Wallace, Josh Maja and Semi Ajayi.

The visitors are also sweating on the fitness of Isaac Price for this trip to the West Country.

Albion have managed to win just one of their last six Championship games, a 1-0 victory over QPR, though they have enjoyed stalemates with title chasers Leeds United and Burnley during that sequence.

Liam Manning's City, meanwhile, are flying high with just one defeat in nine Championship games since early February.

They were beaten 2-0 at The Hawthorns in December and may find the Baggies tricky to break down. A draw isn't optimal for either side, but they may both welcome a point.
