Brighton to win
Momentum is with Wolves heading into this one but Brighton have been impressive of late, even with just one win in their last five in the league. Pervis Estupinan's return at left-back has been a welcome boost for Roberto De Zerbi's side as they seek to break into the top six.
We feel as though the two-week break following their FA Cup third-round triumph over Stoke City will serve them well for the next phase of the Premier League season. Estupinan scored a cracking strike against the Potters and he has been one of the standout full-backs in the league for the past 18 months for his contributions in the final third.
Star striker Joao Pedro notched a brace in that one, continuing his excellent form in front of goal, and he is going to be key in the Seagulls' quest to secure European football again for next year.
This does feel like a game that can deliver entertainment at both ends but we think the home advantage could play a huge part here and we fancy Brighton to pick up the three points.
Both teams to score
Following on from that last point, we do feel as though there are goals to be had in this game. Brighton scored four past Stoke last time out but they did also concede twice. Wolves themselves have scored nine goals in their last three in the league.
Their player in form right now is attacker Matheus Cunha who has scored and assisted in two of his last three appearances (Everton in the league and their FA Cup third-round replay against Brentford). He will head into Monday night full of confidence and he is a threat that the Seagulls will have to concern themselves about. As is Pedro Net0, who has recently returned from injury.
The Portuguese winger has been excellent this season for the Old Gold and he will look to continue from where he left off before his injury. There is enough quality among both teams for this selection to land on Monday.
Joao Pedro to score anytime
Dialing back a bit, we still think that the biggest goal threat on the pitch in this game is going to be Brighton's Brazilian forward Joao Pedro. The 22-year-old has been excellent this year with 15 goals across all competitions so far. He has scored braces in two of his last three appearances against Tottenham Hotspur and Stoke and he will fancy his chances to extend his league total against Gary O'Neil's side.
