Brighton & Hove Albion will look to continue their perfect start to the Premier League campaign when they welcome West Ham United to the American Express Community Stadium on Saturday (17.30).

The Seagulls have picked up two 4-1 victories so far, while the Hammers drew with Bournemouth in the opening game before enjoying a 3-1 triumph over Chelsea last weekend.

Brighton vs West Ham Prediction

  • Brighton to win and over 2.5 goals @ EVS
  • Solly March to score anytime @ 11/5

Team News

Brighton attacker Julio Enciso could be out for several weeks with a knee injury, while Jakub Moder remains absent with a knee injury of his own.

Adam Lallana and Adam Webster both recovered from respective setbacks to feature against Wolves, and both could be in contention to feature on Saturday.

As for the visitors, new signing Konstantinos Mavropanos is nursing a minor injury and will be unavailable this weekend, while Nayef Aguerd will be suspended for this clash.

Brighton to win and over 2.5 goals @ EVS

Brighton are top of the Premier League table – and while you can’t read too much into that after two games, they have been seriously impressive.

Roberto De Zerbi’s side have picked up from where they left off last season, dispatching both Luton Town and Wolves 4-1 in their opening two matches.

West Ham represent a tougher test for the Seagulls, but David Moyes’ men have failed to beat Brighton since they were promoted back to the top flight back in 2017.

Brighton beat West Ham 4-0 in this fixture last season, while also picking up a 2-0 victory away at the London Stadium, so I can see them enjoying another comfortable win here.

There have been over 2.5 goals in seven of the Seagulls’ previous eight top-flight games, including both this season, so I’m backing a Brighton win and over 2.5 goals scored.

Solly March to score anytime @ 11/5

I’m backing March to continue his fine form this weekend, as at the time of writing, he is the league’s top scorer with three goals in the opening two games.

He’s also registered six shots on target, so no doubt he’ll get plenty of chances to add to his tally in this match if Brighton give him the service.

The English attacker failed to get on the scoresheet in either match against the Hammers this season, but he poses the biggest threat for Brighton coming into this game, and 11/5 is a decent price for him to score anytime.
